Is it okay to eat expired protein bars? I brought isoflex protein bars box which it will be expired on August 12 2014. Soon it will be expired.

Its up to you to decide for yourself. I know myself personally am not going to fret if I am eating a slightly past best before date protein bar. If it smells off, or tastes off obviously I wouldnt eat it. I have had a couple bars go bad well prior to there best before date so the look, smell and taste to me are very important vs best before date.
You still have a couple of weeks before they even expire, so if your worried too much just eat them before then.Official MuscleTech Representative

Most of those dates are considered best before and not necessarily an expiration, but like others have said they'll probably be good for a long while after just follow your senses, you could probably freeze them too if you have more than you could possibly eat or you could always bless someone with some of them.

i work in a pharmacy mate, and surprisingly i get heaps of customers asking this. if its within 3 months of the expire date then it's recomended to not consume it. it wont kill you if you do but in terms of protein quality and internal breakdown you'll most likely recreate niagra falls when you next have to go to the toilet
