How To Tell if Your PreWorkut Supplement is Any Good
...if you literally say "Holy fukk" to yourself when you feel it kick in, then you know you have a good preworkout supplement.
Anyway, back down to the basement to start bench day.Celer, Silens, Mortalis - - - - - Meet Lifts: 584/385/600 @ 229 - - - - - Gym Lifts: 600/405/605

I need to note that I just realized my Swiss bar is 33lbs instead of 45. So, that means I screwed up my weights in previous posts that involve any exercise with that bar and they should all be 12lbs less than posted. No big deal for bench, but a bit of an ego blow for my curls

General Notes: Another good day. Last week I hit 315x3@10 rpe and this week I hit 325x3 at a slightly easier 10 rpe on bench. It moved really slow but, didn't feel all the bad. My chins are also improving and seem to become a little easier every time I do them.

So, my shoulders are pretty achy and my right pec feels a little funny (from deadlifts actually, felt a pull on my last rep on Thursday). Been going real heavy for the last couple of weeks so, I think it's about time for a de-load. Next week will be much lighter weights with high reps in the big movements just to maintain muscle memory and to get the blood going for some active recovery. Then it will be back to the heavy stuff.

It puts less stress on my back and comes closer to simulating a front squat. Mostly I like them because it adds variety to my training.
Also, I'm not really on any kind of program at the moment. Just lifting by feels right now because I came off of a six month hiatus starting in the beginning of July and am basically reaping the benefits of noob gains. Probably by September, I will follow a 531 style template with my squats and deadlifts and continue to do what I am doing with my bench, which is a dedicated bench day and a bench accessory day (kinda westside inspired I guess). I've found lifting that way is what has given me the most steady gains and is what led me to my 600 squat and 405 bench ages ago.Celer, Silens, Mortalis - - - - - Meet Lifts: 584/385/600 @ 229 - - - - - Gym Lifts: 600/405/605
