    I'm skinny fat. How much weight should I lose?

    I'm skinny fat. I have a slight gut. I heard you are supposed to cut to 10-12% and bulk to like 15% bodyfat. I'm currently 190 pounds, 6'3 and at least 18-20% bodyfat.

    How much weight do I need to lose to get to 12%? Would weighing 170 do it? And how much time would you recommend I lose it in? Any advice would be nice. I've been lifting for a year and I don't even look like I lift.



    Edit: 190, not sure why I put 200 pounds. I was 200 a few months ago, but this pic is at 190.

    A pound a week is a nice moderate cut. Maybe 1.5 lbs/week. Drop 15-20 pounds and reassess.

    DL: 160 KG (352 lbs)
    Squat: 140 KG (308 lbs)
    Bench: 100 KG (220 lbs)

    Alright. Thanks for the advice. I'll aim for 1-2 pounds a week until I like what I see.
