if dieting question (how long to eat after work out)

Now I am following the thing to work out before and eat after.

To maximize fatloss should I wait a certain amount of time after my work out before breaking the fast or should I break the fast right away after the work out.

I work out around 7 pm so I eat before and protein shake after. I hate the feeling of eating food then going to bed.

Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

Also, short term energy balance is irrelevant. Meaning it doesn't matter whether your lifts are fuelled by carbs or fat. Overall energy balance will dictate changes in your body.

No, what he's saying is what determines over all fat loss is the size of your calorie deficit not when you eat.

Eat whenever you want. Meal frequency and timing is all personal preference.

I do not like to eat before I work out. I feel to full and bloated to push myself (especially on ab days). I will usually do my workout, take my protein drink right after, and 30-45 minutes dinner is ready. You can always eat then wait an hour and lift. Try it out and see what best suits you

    when you eat doesnt matter.

    >be in LOSING FAT section
    >thinking you are being told to do something that may work against you

    doesnt make sense.
There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?
