Just got my first bonus after a year of working at my first job out of college.
Was expecting my comp for this year to be $90k. Did that Tebow nod to god when I opened my payslip and saw I'd made $125k.
Maybe not CEOing 10k a day, but 10k a month still feels pretty damn good.

How many cawks did you get in your mouth?
The vigorous man industriously striving for the improvement of his condition acts neither more nor less than the lethargic man who sluggishly takes things as they come. For to do nothing and to be idle are also action, they too determine the course of events. -- Ludwig Von Mises.

Don't go out much Mon-Thurs, maybe once, if at all. Weekends usually free though. Have had more than enough time to go out and smash random club sloots.
Gym 4 times a week, but hours mean I have to go to a 24 hour gym. Usually have to go first thing in the morning like 6am, or evening like 6pm (but then potentially go back to work after).

How are your colleagues? Are they arrogant bastards like the average miscer aspires to be?

Definitely worth it. First couple years in banking you work 80 hours which is bullchit yes, but next year my comp should go up to $150k.
As you get more senior increases in comp each year get bigger and bigger + as you get more senior you do less of the bullchit work so your hours get better. Like guys who have been here 3 years work like 60 hour weeks on average and are clearing $200k a year.

What a ****ing pathetic existence you have working 80 hours a week. You know there's more to life than just work and money right?
You're a peasant OP and it pissed me off that you're bragging about wasting your life working 80 hours a week. Would rather have a nice clean wiener in my mouth than work anywhere near that amount of hours and I'm not even gay.

80 hour weeks? No thanks jeff..
If your working everyday that's over 11 hours, only 5 days ur putting in 16 hour days.
working 7 days a week 11 hour days you would be working around 4100 hours a year making 30/hr
Working 5 days a week 16 hour days you would be around 42/hr
Not really anything to brag about....sounds like ur a slave to the company.
These numbers are based on 80 hour weeks.
