Back from the range. Warmed up a bit with the Shield 9mm on static target at 25 ft, then worked the rest of the time with the programmed timer to show/hide the target at 20 ft. Did the same setup for each of these . . . 15 second starting countdown, then target would face me for 2 seconds and turn back on edge for 4 seconds through the max number of shots I had. Started all shots from low ready--so finger off trigger and along slide and gun held low below target. First run with the Shield was kind of meh . . . had some good shots and some not so good.
That timer shooting where you have to line up the weapon and try to fire accurately that fast is so much harder. I'm starting to figure it out a bit after only doing it twice. Need to practice a ton more. I do not see the sights on the Shield as well when doing this as I do with the 2 other guns for some reason. I think part of that is my astigmatism (that I don't wear a special lens for) and part is just the sight design? May look to see if some night sights for the Shield might be better for picking up better or some kind of sight paint to test.
Went to the BHP next and shot pretty good with that. It's a nice shooter and the sights are pretty easy to line up quickly.
Then moved to the M&P .40c. Did ok with that . . . you can see the one shot where I hesitated and caught the target right when it was flipping back on edge. First few shots I was hitting high, then I corrected and think I was jerking the trigger a bit thinking about the timer so hit low/left. Last few shots were much better and got some right down the center.
Then went back to the Shield for another run before leaving to see if I could improve on the first run. Definitely shot better after getting used to the timing and the process.

Waiting to get on the table at my favorite secluded outdoor range. There are three kids shooting shotguns, pistols, and various .22s. It's a limited space deal, so I'm letting them take their time. Figure if they have max fun they're more apt to continue shooting, etc. they also have a girl out shooting what looks to be a Ruger Mark series .22.
That and I'm gonna take awhile once I get going.
Mags loaded, BCM bcg astroglided, now we wait.MFC

Took the AR out today. All out of 75gr match but didnt do too shabby with hornady 55gr fmjbt. Not the best bullet to be shooting for groups but it's all I have loaded at the moment. I have closeups up groups if they need tested. They were roughly around .7moa. Bottom right was cold bore
And of course I ran the mosin at 100. I am much more pleased with these results. Top left target was 5 shots. The rest were 4 shot groups. The groups were around 2-3 moa lulz

Gentlemen if finally happened
I am so upset over it, it ruined the rest of my time at the range.
The damn Taurus kept on miss firing on me. Now I definitely have to go buy a new EDC for me. I am confused and upset.
I did finish up my time with Hubby's Springfield XD .40. But still it's not my gun and yes I am mad.

Sorry, Trin . . . maybe it's something easily fixed? If not, there are plenty of options.

The hammer is not hitting dead center on the primer. We did not have a pen to mark it, so we could not figure out if it was doing the same thing every time. It was like a 50/50 chance of it working every time I pulled the trigger. We are going to try and go back out tomorrow and try again.
I know, just frustrating.
We will probably go out next week and look at some guns, that way I can hold them see how they feel in my hand... etc....
I have small hands so I want something that feels right.
