Nice edit, like usual.
You're a full of chit try hard who's been shooting rifles for 2 years. You think you're an expert on, well, seemingly everything which is clearly evident by the fact that you comment on everything with an attitude of authority and expertise. Someone called you out on it, and all you have is passive aggressive responses.
There, is that trying hard enough for you?

I'm sorry, was I wrong when I told the guy it is illegal to buy a handgun (or any gun) face to face out of state?
I'm pretty sure that is, in fact, illegal.
Not sure why you are so butthurt about this.
Or are you butthurt because I had a detent fly out when I took an AR lower apart? I mean...lulzwut.
Just chill out.

Weapon mounted lights: Do you care how many lumens you get? If so, how much output do you like and why? Does it change if you figure the firearm to be used more indoors vs outdoors (or no idea where)? What about beam pattern? Narrow/focused for throw or wide/spill beam for a wider coverage area?
Common rifle/shotgun mounted lights these days seem to have anywhere from 110-500 lumens. How do you pick one?

Do you know the model number and rated output? Amazon search shows more than one, though they seem pretty similar.
I have two (different) Surefires right now but don't know that I want to spend that much on another light and event he 'more economical' inforce WML is still pretty expensive.

To me it depends on if its a pistol or rifle.
For a pistol I think somewhere between 100 and 150 is good. I have a streetlight tlr-1s I think its 150. Indoors its bright as fukk and is disorienting to me if I shine it on a white wall by accident.
The same would apply for a rifle being used at like less than 75 yards.
For a rifle, for outdoors I would get as bright as I could. Carry some extra batteries if you go 300+ lumens. It takes a lot of power to run bright light.**Kneedraggers Crew**

Rejection is part of life and if you go around avoiding it, then you aren't going to realize everything this universe has to offer. The quick, sharp pain of rejection you feel is a very momentary fleeting feeling that will disappear. The pain of "what if", however, can last a life time

Rigger Belts. Anyone used this Grey Ghost Paladin deal? http://www.greyghostgear.com/new/paladin-belt
But more specifically anyone know of a rigger belt with that style buckle but priced more in line with something like the Orig Inst belt that is sturdy enough for edc?We don't rise to the occasion, we fall to our level of training.

Anyone cook up stuff in bulk for the week (or a few days) and have it prepped/portioned to use for meals? Just threw in a big pan of chicken breasts to bake. I'll let it cool, cube it up, weight it out and then split it up between the fridge and freezer using sandwich bags. When the bags in the fridge get low, I take more out of the freezer to start them thawing. Rinse, repeat every weekend.
Pretty handy . . . can make a quick chicken salad for a meal, or cook some up in a sauce or whatever to eat. Have also been hardboiling some eggs.*MFC Elder Statesmen Cabinet Crew*

The cubing is kind of a pain in the azz, honestly . . . but one of the things I like to make is a chicken salad with a chopped up egg, relish, fat free mayo and some chicken. So it's a lot easier to just pre-cube it all and then it works good for that and some other stuff. But the tedious factor is definitely engaged in the prep. And then if I can just get myself motivated to really count macros consistently that prep would help too. But so far I haven't been that dedicated. I always intend to and then make it a day or so being really careful . . . then I blow it by eating something that I don't have tracked.
