Doesn't work that way. Pistol cartridges are not very capable of incapacitating a person, that's why you see cops empty entire mags on a shooter. Just to make sure that he doesn't come back to consciousness and start shooting again.

That fcuker is on death row now, cop was only 22 and was at a clear disadvantage. Was shot 9 times before finally wounding him but was then executed with a shot to the head by the vet. I honestly dont know why they havent put the needle in him yet

Apparently this vid is used by the police to teach new recruits what not to do in this situation. The cop shot first with a bad angle. The vet incapacitated him and was going back to his car when the cop tried to shoot him in the back. That's when he executed him. If he hadn't tried to shoot the guy in the back and let him drive off he wouldn't be dead. Easy to look back in hindsight though I guess.
