actually going to vote this year. i'll be damned if i see these two clowns take this country to hell in a handbasket
need more options and supporting reasons. seems voting is just a reality tv show these days.
-not voting for hilary because of blatant failures and lies/scandals
-trump is racist as fuk, why the fuk would he care about any other race. not to mention his cringe-worthy attempts for attention, i could imagine what he would be like in office
reps for thoughts and other options. will be back in an hour cause it's leg day 3

While I don't get to vote for your president I've read a lot of good things about Bernie Sanders. He's been pretty stable with his economic doctrine (not much spending on war but a lot on reforming the US). I hope he doesn't end up being a Rand or Ron Paul though, those brothers will never get anywhere.

Lmao at a flat tax. So you want to put all of the IRS, half of the accounting industry and half of the legal industry out of work to enact a tax scheme that will actually increase taxes for virtually all of the lower to middle class taxpayers? In an election year? Even if the economy were chugging along nicely, you can't just scrap the entire system without plunging the government and most businesses into chaos.
Don't be so simple minded.

It would be a tax cut, because Paul also wants to eliminate the FICO tax, which is the biggest tax on most wage earners income.

Seriously, check out Rand Paul, he's a great candidate.

Doesnt matter who you vote for OP. There hasnt been a good all around president since Teddy Roosevelt.
Both political parties have been phucked up for a long time. The republican party by giving leadership positions to literal idiots and the democrats by pandering to minorities to get votes. Remember OP whoever wins, ur phucked.~Proud American~

As an economics student and someone who has seen "socialist" doctrines at work (more like capitalist 90% socialism 10%) I doubt anyone is a real socialist. Well, they really can't be it given the global workings of the free market. Nations are obligated to become to some degree capitalistic. So If I where you I wouldn't worry about that.

Honestly the problem isn't with not taxing the rich enough
http://taxfoundation.org/blog/do-ric...eir-fair-share
"Those making over $200,000 comprise just over 5 percent of the nation’s taxpayers, earn 32.3 percent of the income, but pay 46.7 percent of total federal taxes and 70 percent of federal income taxes."
The other big problem is our mandatory spending.
I know people just want to do the right thing and offer assistance to people who need it. It's a noble intention, truly. The problem is the stifling fukking bureaucracy, lack of transparency, lack of accountability, etc. It's not sustainable. Until we make cuts / restructure these programs we will never balance our ledger period.

brb making comments about illegal immigrants suddenly makes you racist.

does OP even know what the electoral college is? I would vote for ANYONE before i vote for hillary. I def dont want trump in office, but he is, by magnitudes, a better candidate than hillary. At least trump is financial savvy. He cant possible eff out country up worse than Obama.
But all that being said, hillary will probably win because of the electroal college. States like CA, who hold 55 electoral votes will vote democrat every election just because of the political affiliation, regardless of candidate, stance, smartness etc“That is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange aeons even death may die.” - The Nameless City by HP Lovecraft
