10 days ago the pec pain stopped. So I gave myself some extra healing time.
Today I did 3 sets of 10 incline and 3 sets of regular pushups. It went well. Im very happy. Im figuring a month of the pushups then move on to the barbell.

2012 was a year of on and off training due to miss-hap's. I had broken ribs, pulled something under my shoulder blade. Then had a total hip replacement. Got soft around the edges. Now time for a comeback. 1st year in. So far things are going great!!
April 11th 2014 double bypass surgery. So another set back grrrrrr.

Always good to see someone get back at it, good luck man!
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

Awesome! I had a friend go through that a while back...I was with him in the hospital after surgery, and the Doctor explained the whole procedure
and such...it's hardcore. You obviously have a great drive, and you'll be rocking in no time!

How are your ribs? My father in law had to have his chest cracked, and every time he coughed he had to hold a pillow just to prevent breaking the stitches. I have to imagine that going from that situation to one where you are benching is quite dramatic.

Boy am I feeling it today. But ill take doms over surgery recovery pain any day lol. My ribs are doing well. They gave me a heart shaped pillow to hug every time I had to cough or sneeze and certain moves. It helped a-lot. Thanks for all the nice replies and blessings and the reps too.

True champions keep marching on stronger than ever despite the many obstacles that they experience in life. Way to go!
You can spend days, weeks or even months analyzing a situation - just trying to put the pieces together. Justifying what you should've and could've done, and what would've happened ... or you can leave the pieces on the floor and move on.

No doubt you're feeling it, but you're on your way now.
Just want to share something incredibly inspiring I saw yesterday to hopefully help you on the road ahead.
