    Exercise Bike and Muscle Building

Hey guys, I'm new to the world of bodybuilding and I have a question:

If I ride my exercise bike at an intensity level of 4/10 for around half an hour, cycling ten miles, will this inhibit my muscle building goals? What role does cardio play in gaining mass?

    Thanks a lot!

If your goal is to build mass I wouldn't do that everyday of the week but that really isn't anywhere close to the amount of cardio that would inhibit muscle growth. Even when adding mass you want to do cardio, first for the health benefits, and two to keep from gaining too much fat. I would think doing that cardio routine 3-4x per week would be fine.

In my opinion you should do Cardio routine 2-3 per week as doing much Cardio can also affect on you muscle building goal. Cardio is one of the most important things you can do for your body, whether you want to lose weight, burn fat or improve your health.
