Competition Squat
385lbs/175kg x3 @10 (form breakdown)
Competition Bench
260lbs/118kg x2 @9.5
Competition Deadlift
425lbs/193kg x5 @9
Weighted Chins +25 3x5
Weighted Dips +47.5 3x5
Big impact on my performance today, probably because I weighed 179.8 this morning. Left knee felt a little unstable when warming up, and you can see in the video, the instability of that knee caused my form to break down heavily on my squat set. Deadlift weights kept getting grooved into the mat. Difficult training session overall.

Week 1 of March to 205 - 6 Weeks Out
180.55 bodyweight last week, a big swoosh that we've been waiting on all diet. Time to reverse out of this diet and begin the very slow march up to 205/93kg weight class. This next comp I'll still be a 183/83kg lifter, but it'll be my last one. Hyped for the gains to be made.
To be honest, I'm just not as excited for this meet sitting here at 6 weeks out as I was for my last meet. I think because I'm really not aiming for anything aside from just increasing my own personal total. It feels kind of purposeless not having any records insight. Ah well, I have a good amount of time to put on some extra lbs to my total and finally hit that 1200 @ 183 that I wanted at my last meet.
TnG Closegrip Bench
237.5lbs/107.5kg 5x1 @7
Conventional Deadlifts
345lbs/156.5kg 3x3 @7.5
DB Bench 75x10,9,9
Kroc Row 80 1x20
Well, the knee issue from Friday is a little more serious than I thought. Couldn't squat today without some pretty bad discomfort and didn't wanna push through it again for no reason and further injure it. Going to let it heal, and if by Wednesday it still is bothering me, will see what adjustments I can make. Really hope it's a quick heal... I'm a bit concerned as it's the same knee that went out about 10 months ago. I feel and can hear a click in my knee when I go up stairs or squat.
Upperback felt a lot more tight with that cue from Hostel.

Just realized we're both 6 weeks out of our respective competitions.
With the attention to detail and drive to become the best you can be that i keep seeing in this thread, you're gonna be a freak at 205. I'm pumped to see what kinda gains come your way. What's going on with the knee?My website:

It's really crept up on me. 6 weeks seems so close.
Thanks man! I hope it works out. I don't know what's going on with this knee right now... it felt strange on Friday warming up and then it collapsed an awkward way on my top set which left it feeling uncomfortable. Now it's still uncomfortable and feels off. It clicks when I do any major knee flexion too.

Knee definitely feels unstable still, least I got work done. Very frustrating, iirc 4-6 weeks out from my last meet I was unable to squat and deadlift due to an injury and now here I am again. fuuuuuuuu

Competition Bench
265x1 @9.5
Competition Deadlift
430x4 @9.5
Weighted Chins +30 3x5
Weighted Dips +50 3x5
Rough session. My left knee was definitely not 100% and hamstring felt banged up as well. It cramped up last night. Least I got some reps in. Really thought I had the double on the big 2 red plates bench today. Gonna continue working on my arch to try and get back to where I was bench wise. Felt good to smash deadlifts again with support from the gym.
Hoping this all turns around as we add calories to this diet and later on, dial down some fatigue that I may have built up.

Fuark bro I mean it is cringe, but doesn't really mean he's a bad coach. He knows what he's doing and I buy into the training ideologies.
He was professional in his PTW channel, his personal channel is whatever he wants to do. Brb defending Izzy like a white knight, AFC please help
Not a chance, always get that training in these days.

Computer pooped out and I think it's finally fixed now. Pokemon Go has me my TDEE insane right now. Last couple sessions:
Tuesday 7/12/16
LISS Cardio 30 Min
DB Hammer Curls 30x12x3
Weighted Crunches 45x12x3
Wednesday 7/13/16
Competition Squat
252.5 3x1 @<5
Competition Bench
192.5 3x2 @<5
Leg Curls 45x12x3
Friday 7/15/16
Competition Squat
395lbs/179.5kg x2 @9.5
Competition Bench
267.5lbs/121.3kg x1 @9.5
Competition Deadlift
430lbs/190kg x4 @9.5
Think the dreams of 300 bench at the meet are over, lol. Very light and easy week. Friday's squats finally feeling better, did lots of stretching prior to lifting. Guess I'm gonna have to be that dude who does 20 min mobility before he lifts.Last edited by Kameronn; 07-16-2016 at 12:16 PM.

I don't get the hype behind Pokémon Go. Loved collecting cards + playing it on Gameboy as a kid, don't get me wrong, but the game is nothing special.
Walk places to catch virtual pokemon that don't mean anything to anyone? Idk man I prefer me some AdCap if we're going for addicting game apps with no real goal.

I'd love to hit somewhere near 1200, but honestly, I don't have a goal for this meet. Prior to this, I had the state records to shoot for, but now that those have been demolished by ~100lbs, I'm out of reach for right now. I'd just like to conclude my time as an 83kg on a good note.
I loved collecting the cards and playing it on the gameboy as a kid too. The nostalgia factor, especially since right now it's only the OG 151, is definitely real lol.
The main appeal, for me at least, is the social aspect. Gathering with my friends and running into hundreds of people doing the same activity while visiting places we'd otherwise never go to. A lot of these people I wouldn't be hanging out with as frequently with either.
There's also the aspect as with every RPG where there is constantly more to do. I wouldn't defend this game at all - it's very buggy and pointless for sure. But its pretty damn fun lmao
