I almost feel like it's too good to be true...140 cals for the entire pint? It must either a) be chock full of a bunch of chemicals and additives, or b) taste like ****. Lol
Has anyone tried it, have any thoughts? Is it a worthwhile effort to go out and try it? And what are the best flavors?

Well, it's definitely not Paleo.
Thought you were all about the whole foods and no grains or beans?
It couldn't be that like so many "Paleo" enthusiasts, you really just want an excuse to restrict carbohydrates and calories. Naaaah. You just want to slam a whole pint of fake ice cream because you're so satisfied and well-nourished on Paleo.
That said, truthfully, it's fairly benign as far as additives go. Some studies have shown the calorie count is higher than advertised, but its chief sweetener is plain old cane sugar, plus some monkfruit extract--it's not full of additives. It IS full of weird fiber from the guar gum, which can bloat you if you eat the whole thing. Not the best idea to do that. I used to eat whole pints when I was eating disordered. So I know whereof I speak.Last edited by shesprints; 07-21-2014 at 08:46 PM.

1. It's expensive for what it is...
2. Most of it tastes like crap...
3. Cals are higher than advertised...
Aside from that, I honestly did enjoy the chocolate though... but I'm also that guy who likes the taste of gluten free cheese, church bread, etc...Learning something new here every single day... and I'm still not sure if I understand : /

Cookies and Cream flavor isn't too bad...not a huge fan of the PB chocolate one
As some have said above, it makes me feel bloated and doesn't always agree with my tummy but overall, it is good for my sweet tooth when cuttingChicago Crew
Next time you're tempted to say you "can't," remember that what you're really saying is, "I don't want to."

Buy a regular ice cream sandwich. It's only about 150 calories, and it's premeasured so you won't grab too large of a serving.

This is what I was thinking too... same price as one of the big six serving tubs of fage, except the greek yogurt would taste better and have much better nutrition. Greek yogurt + almond milk + cocoa + stevia + flavoring extract and placed in the freezer for 15-30 minutes is a much better option if you want ice cream IMO
edit: just remembered OP can't have dairy because its not paleo
lmfao
never mind

My wife has a gluten, dairy, and soy free diet as of right now... I probably meant to say dairy/soy free but didn't really care enough to actually think about it. And on another note.. all the time I see random things like ice cream, syrups, dairy products, etc.. that say Gluten free... and I don't understand why. Heck.. my daughter got a necklace making kit.. just plastic beads and rope that had HUGE letters in bold saying: Wheat and Gluten free
