I don't drink. I don't really care for the taste of alcohol, I don't like what it does to my body, it's counterproductive to my goals, I have an uncle that is a violent alcoholic and I had problems with my liver [triglycerides] about a year and a half ago.
I used to drink & party it up. A lot. It's completely lost its appeal to me, thank god. I drank myself sober before I hit the age of 21.

Stopped
As many of others have said, drinking is extremely counter-productive to your goals, only those peeps who have a naturally low bodyfat %, "could" drink themselves into oblivion, not saying that makes it any better.. but you know
I'm 21, and on saturday I was totally trashed, but hey.. that's the last time for me. I've said that before.. lol, but I wasted the whole day yesterday, laying around and sleeping, instead of doing some intense cardio, what a waste, makes you lazy as hell, and feel like ****. Tip, those who have posted here, and never have drank don't, and those that do, try to stop, good luck to all on their goals.

Ugh... I love beer. I mean I really love beer. I spent some time in Germany and my diet consist of beer and more beer. But, now that I'm lifting, I don't drink any more. Occasionally I'll have a beer, but rarely more than two and not more than two for a whole week. All the guys mentioned the negative effects of drinking, so I won't repeat. I'll just say that if you seriously into BB'ing, I'd give up the drinking. Ahhhhh! *needs a hug*

almost all girls ive pulled have been me being drunk out of my head, which doesnt say much about myself. Ive also done very crazy things drunk and it is a lot of fun. It is very hard for me to go out not drunk and have as much fun as if i was drunk, cos it simply is not the same. I havent drunk for like 3 months now, and im a college student.
Alcohol gives you more confidence, and everything seems more fun, and it hard going out not diunrking with firends that are off their head with alcohol. But then i think how i will feel the next day, and all of the effects of alcohol and i feel better. However, since its been 3months since i drunk alcohol, i guess i will get drunk will much less alcohol than before, which is good in a way.
One tip for drinking alcohol: Ask for vodka/rum/gin and a diet soda, that way you are avoiding all the sugar from licours or mixers, whih will be turned to fat directly, since lipolisys is completely stoppped when alcohol is inside the body. Myself, I always drink vodka diet coke, looks gay, but works, plus crystaline alcohol (such as vodka or gin) gives less hangover than the darker spirits such as whisky.
just some tips for you alcoholics
Good luck

I agree with eveything said above about it being counterproductive to my goals. I am also in my mid 20's so it's not something I'm ready to give up totally, yet. It reminds me of that thread about taking BB too seriously, I have an immaculate diet, and take supplements but I still drink once a month or so...it's all about finding YOUR balance.
