It's the same old song and dance
We were high school sweethearts. after graduation she put on the "I'm happy to be your teammate and try to make this work out" mask while I found my place in life. Eventually we were 20 years old working multiple jobs paying for an apartment and acquiring the things we wanted. It was slow, but it was progress.
Once I started bringing in more $$$ I plunked down for a house. She made the executive decision to quit her job to "take care of the house" which seemed like a good idea at the time.
Like a buffoon, I tried to make the best of that situation and kept plowing ahead with the brutal job that I've come to hate over the years. The old "Man goes to work all day and comes home to a wife, clean house and dinner, then possibly sex" fantasy that all men desiring marriage have.
Before I realized the truth about this situation, I had married her. No one even tried to talk me out of it. Nothing but encouraging words from men who had been married multiple times. Egads.
Fast forward a couple years and I'm miserable, she plays videogames all day, no sex, no clean house, no dinner.
TL;DR: My life sucks, my wife doesn't.
RingDips, do not get married.

I'm surprised that article didn't mention student debt being one of the reasons. Which college or colleges pay the guy to not say chit? Anyways, when I hear something bad happens to someone, I make sure that the same thing doesn't happen to me. I'm not getting married cause my parents are divorced and I sure as hell do not want to end up like them.

Wow bro, sorry to hear that. That's my worst fear stuck in a no win situation like that. I'm not religious so I believe we only have 1 shot at this life. Being stuck and miserable is the worst case scenario. I would rather stack cash, travel, meet new people and experience new things then get tied down to 1 person. I sure as **** wouldn't want to raise kids in the environment out there today.

That sucks, bro. I'm genuinely sorry to hear all that.
Do you really think every relationship has the potential to go down this path, though? I don't.
My own circumstances are simply not conducive to things ending badly. I wish everyone in the world could experience the level of love and trust I have, srs; it truly is a symbiotic relationship.

Marry a highly educated woman, one who makes big money. My wife always made more than me because of our career choices so just don't marry an uneducated bar fly wench.

But we in it shall be rememberèd—
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother...”

there will be...no eggs left in the tank. Congratulations!
Sorry ladies, once you hit dem 40's, odds of taking a kid to full term drop dramatically. Guess there's always the option of raising the cast-away offspring of your reproductive betters, right? After all, the kid was probably that of an Alpha who just hit it and quit it with a mommy who didn't want to raise him and dropped them off at the orphanage. So you get what you wanted all along!
I have witnessed too much horror in my time in far too personal of a manner to engage in marriage, or even relationships. Father and Mother divorced after 26 years, Brother divorced from his wife after 14 years.
I don't need to get married to know how bad it is - I witnessed it all first hand, twice.

You're a young guy so nobody has probably told you this. Pre-nups are usually about as useful as the paper they are written on. You're soon to be ex-wife's lawyer will immediately move to get it thrown out by saying you coerced her into signing it or she was unaware of what it entailed.
Also that goal of your of having $100k net worth by 2015? If you are married have fun with it being a 50/50 shot of keeping that net worth.Cashflow is King

Yeah, your situation is all kinds of fukked up. Again, I'm sorry to hear it, and I appreciate you sounding the warning bell on behalf of those who might otherwise make ill-advised choices.
But I remain supremely confident that I'm making the right call. I've been redpilled on marriage and anti-male divorce settlements since my teenage years, and I wouldn't be taking this step if I wasn't 100% certain.*Nationalist Crew*

It's human nature to care about what you can earn (take), and keep (protect), brah.
That's not the big problem, the insane entitlement laws which grant ridiculous spousal support/alimony/etc to women as a disproportionate rate are, simply because men are wising up to the serious risks of financial loss should a marriage go south.
