    Deads done this morning. Wrist was still a little sore from Friday, so I had to wrap it pretty tight today. It didn't affect anything as long as it was wrapped, so the workout was fine.

    I tried the speed deads today for my reps then felt good so i thought id shoot for a max... dumb idea!!! I was to exhausted. I was only able to get 455 about 6in off the ground so i dropped down to 435 and it was sloppy und ugly but i got it. I like the lifts ya doin and might try a 5/3/1 on my next go round... KEEP KILLIN IT!!!

    No worries brah.....it will come in time! 5/3/1 is a great program to run imo. I would definitely modify it to your specific needs though.

    Worked on my bench tonight. Start of a new 5/3/1 cycle, so weight was fairly light. It also looks like its going to be my last week on most of these supps, so Ill have my final thoughts by the weekend or so.

    Sorry it took awhile, but here are my final reviews on each product of the get swole stack!

    Here we go......

    ZMA-
    First off, I noticed that I slept better on this product when I took it an hour or 2 before bed. When I used it 30 minutes before bed, I would have a hard time falling asleep! I thought it was other factors, but when I was done with the bottle, my sleep habits went back to normal. Ive used ZMA products off and on for some years now and this one worked. I don't think you need a zma product, but if you try it and like it, why not use one. This was part of the Get Swole stack and I used 2 caps every night for a month. Some people use it for a test boost, but I didn't see anything out of the ordinary but a little deeper sleep during the night. Sleep is very important for training, so if you have sleep issues, give this a try.


    BCAA caps-
    Recovery(8/10)- Not bad on the recovery aspect. A little less sore which is always a plus in my book, but this was also stacked with Recon as part of the Get Swole stack, so Im sure that both of them combined helped out alot. Minimizing muscle soreness and recovering quicker helps tremendously. The big minus for me this product was the serving size.....8 caps per serving to get your BCAA's is a lot. The caps are easy to swallow, but if your taking the recommended 1-3 servings a day, it is a lot of pills to take! All in all, good product depending on how you use it. You will blow through a bottle super quick if your using 3 servings a day.


    Combat powder-
    Taste(10/10)- Hands down the best tasting protein I have ever had. I mixed this in both fat free milk and water and the flavor is just amazing. I feel like Im cheating drinking this stuff! It honestly tastes like a dessert. Even in water, it tasted like a melted orange creamsicle. Just......wow. Mix ability(9/10)- This protein mixes very well for the thickness, consistency and amount of powder used. The scoop is big, but this powder does a good job mixing in just a shaker cup. I use 6oz of liquid per scoop and it worked perfect for me. No bad clumping, nasty leftovers or grit. Great protein that I highly recommend. A little on the pricey side if you use it the way I do, but I was definitely impressed by this flavor. Give it a try and I guarantee you will love it!



    Re-con-
    Taste(8/10)- Ii took some getting used to the taste, but it slowly grew on me as time went by.! I tried using the recommended ratio of liquid to powder, but it ended up really weakening its flavor. So I used almost half of the recommended ratio and it tasted a lot better for me. I wanted to try something different from the normal flavors, so I went with this one. Not the best recon flavor that I have tasted, but definitely had hints of mango in there with orange being the strength. Mix ability(9/10)- No clumps, no floating particles, bad left overs, or extra foam! It has always mixed very well with a normal shaker cup and a blender bottle. Recovery(9/10)- It would cut down my recovery time by a day or so depending on the previous workout. I love the profile and added carbs and calories which made for a great post-workout shake. In my book, that is still amazing that it does its job like it said it does. Another great product by MP. I recommend anyone to try this out and see if it works for them.



    Armor V-
    Being a multivitamin, I cant really rate it’s performance for my workouts, but the ingredient profile is rich with various spectrums of not only vitamins, but also efa’s, greens, and all the of the things a hard working athletes body craves for on a daily basis. I did feel a lot better while taking this, but it could be a placebo effect also. The only thing I didn’t like about the product is the serving size of 6 capsules per day. They are not hard to swallow, but 6 capsules a day for a multi vitamin is pretty crazy. Nonetheless, they have put a bunch of ingredients in these capsules, so I can see why the serving size is so big. Im just not big on taking too many pills a serving. Give it a shot and see how it fares for you.


    Assault-
    Taste(8/10) It took some getting used to at first, but I ended up liking and enjoying it after a couple of servings. I mixed in 1.5 servings with 8-10ozs of water and it worked well for me because the taste was strong and the flavor was there. Mixability(9/10) It mixed very well! I used a blender ball bottle to mix it with and I didn’t even have to shake it! I just swirled it around a couple times and it was good to go. No foaming at the top and no loose floating particles. Energy(8/10) It was a good clean energy that I felt. 1 scoop didn't do much for me and I do not use stims often. 1.5 scoops was perfect for me to really feel it working and get a great workout. Not too over bearing and wired, but just enough to get me through some grueling workouts. Pump(8/10)- Pump was good at 1.5 scoops. Muscles were nice and tight, and I work with low reps! Definitely looked a lot bigger while working out due to the pump. Overall, a great product and something that I do recommend purchasing. Now if your a stim junkie looking for crazy energy, you might go through a bottle of this stuff a little too quick. If your looking for good clean energy, this is the stuff!
