I think everyone hates Monsanto just the way the general population has always hated new technology at first throughout history. There are always hiccups in science that are unavoidable but these hiccups are what keep our species moving forward. People fear what they do not understand, especially when it comes to ANYTHING organic. For some reason altering anything in nature is deemed as an evil thing to do. Yet in order for our species to survive and meet population demands.....other techniques must be brought to light.
I think, judging from your psychological based comments, you view me as some sort of hired sociopath.Pharmaceutical Chemistry BSc

No wonder you want to work for a company that's trying to kill everyoneThis is the verdict: light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his evil deeds will be exposed." - John 3:19-20
Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” - John 8:12

Typically?
Go in at 730am
Scan some bar codes and do something called Brixing
Take ethylene samples
Miscellaneous lab duties like preparing supplies for future assays
Texture analyzing
Get off at 4
Dassss it
But recently I'm part of a project with my group in Sensory where we are taking a trip to the National Food Lab. All expenses paid of course, even got my own room with a king size bed. Was nice.Pharmaceutical Chemistry BSc

You're not, as the dude you're replying to rightly put you're just another weak minded and highly malleable shill whose, despite actually having a degree, lacks any and all critical thinking skills (though that wouldnt be exclusive to u considering how much wages are shrinking and how the middle class continuously gets eaten alive). LOL I see dudes like u in bucketloads in any corporate. Easily manipulated and weak minded, will bend over backwards if a company was openly fukking toddlers in the ass if it meant u still received your company car and "bennies".
I mean, seriously? Monsanto not involved in any shady chit? Seriously? I mean...what? Just because u work for a company it doesnt mean they're absolved from any employees critical analysis of their practices. I mean, wat? Lets leave out all the "conspiracy theorist" talk of GMOs being potential harmful for the humans who come in contact with them. Monsanto's business practices are down right disgusting and would make even the most seasoned patent trolls and anti-trust advocates wince. Numerous cases of claiming patent infringement far too fukking liberally, excessive lobbying of policy makers and government, damn near scientific execution of coercive tactics to gain monopolies (they have been called out by entities far larger and smarter than yourself...lol please tell me these are tin foil hat wearers) entering markets and, again, trying to claim age old practices as their own patented "technologies"....LOL these dudes were actually instrumental in the fukkin atomic bomb. I mean...OP just lol at u.

So many ad-hominems I can't even begin to properly construct an argument for you. Regardless, I'll do my best. The entire basis of your argument is that I am weak-minded for willingly working for a company that is under heavy scrutinization by a small cult of followers (namely your sect). Until Monsanto has done something legally wrong, I am not about to sit here and argue over morals. It's far too tiring and will lead to nowhere. Hence why I'd rather not indulge in such conversations. I will say I believe in their products from a scientific standpoint.
