    Unhappy intimidated

Hey guys, I'm 15 almost 16 I'm signing up for a better gym which actually has a squat rack, not smith machines and better equipment overall. However, this gym has a lot of kids that go to my school, and I'm afraid of being ridiculed when I do my squats, OHP, etc.. Whenever I bench I feel like all eyes are on me cause at the moment I can only bench 70 lb, and 100 lb squat.. IDK what to do!

Everyone starts somewhere man. Don't worry, my squats are still chit (155). Still have to work on my form but my deadlifts make up for it.

Like already said OP, everyone had to start somewhere. That is everyone's fear; being ridiculed, but I've never actually seen it happen. The people you think are looking at you are busy lifting too OP. Have no worries and don't let intimidation ruin a lift
    Bench 230 x 3>>>> goal 275 x 5
    Squat parallel 365 x 3>>>> goal 415 x 1

Don't worry man, there's not a lot of people that are so ignorant to ridicule someone on not being as strong as them, or making fun of someone because they can't lift a lot of weight.. I remember one time this guy was making fun of an overweight dude on a treadmill, and got confronted by a 300pound swole bearmode dad, **** was cash and I never saw that guy again

If your schoolmates are nice to you, then you don't have a problem.
If you do get made fun of, just use it as motivation to lift harder.
    Win-win

FYI when I started lifting I could only bench 44lbs for 6 reps. My friends were much stronger than me. Now I have the strongest squat and bench more than everyone except some athletes in the school...which is ridiculous tbh. My numbers are weak ass ******* compared to the rest of this forum.
