I think BH would be happy to get him in the back pool room of a smoky bar. I remember back when I was barely 19 just turned old enough to drink legally. Me and a couple buddies were back playing pool and a couple older guys (to us anyway) started going at it. One guy got thrown up across a pool table and the other guy got wacked in the back with a cue...scared the chit out of us kids. Somebody yelled the cops were coming and it seemed like the whole bar emptied out...us first. How nobody got in any trouble that night was beyond me. This was small town USA too...it may not happen as frequent as the Bronx but it certainly does happen. I don't miss those days...at all.

Most of the regulars and nubbees as well know I have been trying to convince my wife to move to Virginia for sometime now. We were actually on the verge of moving and then her sister suddenly passed away at a very young age (49) and my wife now refuses to move and not be around her other sisters and she wants to stay here in NY.

Moving is a hard thing for lifelong dwellers. But I say....kill her, do the East River thing and move.

I went to the bar tonight where he hangs and we spoke, he pulled me to the side and said he doesn't want to fight me, said that at the beach he had some drinks in him and he did not want to look like a punk in front of his boy, the word on the street was that this guy is clean dude, a wannabee tough guy with no real street cred,

He asked that I agree to drop the fight and make it look like a mutual agreement because he doesn't want to sound like he alone backed down.

I gave him that, I have nothing to prove with the streets, my name is good. He wants a name thats all good with me.

One thing though, I told him I have been in a lot of fights and he gave me a hell of a fight and it is in him to do some serious damage. He said, you have no idea how happy I was when the cops came.

So the fight is off, I got home and spoke to Patty.

She told me she loves me to death and she will follow me to the hell and back, but she just isn't ready right now.

So at least there is some possibility in the future, I will give her time.

I don't know that it is low, but I have spoken with Kevin as well. He doesn't have an accent.

Ive never understood the Street Cred thing. Sure, Ive been down some nice streets. Some with trees lining them, some with extra wide Kramer lanes, some with nice homes adorning them, but I'm yet to meet a street that I had to impress for it to give me some cred and in the end, I don't care what a street thinks of me.
