I am a bit biased because I don't compete in a knee sleeves federation (or powerlifting at all!), but wraps are soooo much better at making my knees not hurt. I heart them.

Yep. If my knees are flaring up, wraps almost always make them feel better and pain free when squatting. SBDs are better than rehbands in all aspects but wraps are just better overall, other than the fact that you have to wrap up for every set.
Also, alot of guys seem to think that wraps need to be cranked down to the absolute tits if you're going to wear them. For 90% of my wrapped work, its just a snug wrap that doesn't really hurt or cut off circulation, and I still get 10-20 pounds out of them easily.

Yup. For most of my sets, I only get 4 rotations out of a 2.5m wrap. First couple are snug to stay in place, last one is loose to tie through. Cranking them down gets another couple rotations and tons of carry over....but not necessary for my training goals.

Deads today sux0r3d, too. Training early in the morning (before 0500) and i'm not as focused to make the heavy lifts; training in the evening after getting the schit beat out of me all day doesn't work, either.
Need some new training partners. No dedication from my current ones.

I concur with 308smk: if you want your knees to feel better, light wraps are the way to go.
Interestingly enough, I've quite using my knee sleeves precisely because they make my knees hurt. They bunch up behind the knee more than wraps, and if you go deep on squats, then it really stresses the knee. So I squat naked knees when not doing wraps.
I just keep my knees warm by wearing clothes that are a bit too warm, e.g., sweat pants.637/390tng/615 - belt/wraps, best gym lifts.

575/330/560 - best competition lifts at 181 raw.

Speaking of knees, i had really bad knee pain for over a year and recently i started doing all my squats as deep as possible and my knees have been feeling awesome. Is there any science behind this?
