Been busy as f*ck, man. That's why I haven't been around here much. There's so much little sh*t involved with running a business that nobody warns you about. Just signed for a 1,400 sq ft warehouse last week. This nearly doubles our space, plus we now have a proper bathroom, overhead clearance to press indoors, plenty of parking, and a sufficient outdoor space for moving events. I'm meeting with a fabricator tomorrow to see what kind of price I can get on an ER-style combo rack plus a couple pimped out power racks with bar holders, plate storage, and drop-in benches.

The expensive part is more customs than distance. If I recall correctly, some shipping companies estimate how long they will have to sit in customs and add money to compensate for downtime on their quote....it is usually high. Some freight companies will give you a price for the delivery and a rate for downtime at customs and you pay actual time. May be worth calling freight companies and getting your own quotes.
Nope. I bought their rack and I am may be looking to get rid of my other one. Not that I am trying to advertise it here, but I am pretty close to JSullivan (proximity wise), so it may be worth mentioning.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

What did you do to yourself?
Why would there be? Squatting is bad for your knees. Bench is bad for your shoulders. Arching on bench is bad for your back. Deadlift is bad for your back. Powerlifting makes you fat and non-functional. I mean we all saw the signs. The Misc has been telling us for years. Why don't we listen?1372 @ 205

I snagged this off Zahir's Russian FB page. To be honest, I'd stopped posting videos of his squats because they were all a mile high. The difference in these is night and day, and I was honestly pretty shocked when I saw the video. Don't get me wrong: it's no IPF depth, but he's at least in the neighborhood of a good squat. Before, he was squatting SPF multiply high.
He looks very comfortable when he is down in the hole. Of course he is shaky when walking it, but that's what happens when you squat ridiculous amounts raw with wraps and high bar.
Zahir is 116 ks / 255 lbs in this video, so he is probably about the same weight as Dan.
He recently benched 617 lbs in competition in the 275s, but I'm not sure what his actual bodyweight was, though I'm fairly certain it was less than 275.
Dan hasn't squatted that much, but he did recently hit 804 without wraps.
Of course Dan has him on deadlift, but Zahir isn't weak at DL. He recently hit 804 at 238 lbs, and pulled 838 with straps, broke 881 off the floor and got it to his knees.
It will be a cool battle at GPA Worlds!Last edited by breathinglife; 09-30-2014 at 10:01 AM.

I remember reading about Zahir being a total dickwad at a big meet. Like not letting people warm up, even his wife. The person describing him called him a "despicable human being" lel
