How can you make the first statement and then say "No hate"?
Buncha hatin' ass mothter****ers in this thread. "He is strong, may as well make a fuss about something that I am 'better' at than him". Show me a lean guy pressing 450+....OB is rather large, Z is quite gutty, Jenkins was hefty, Dimitar is a shorter rounder individual....it takes a lot of damn weight to put 400+ over your head. There are three exceptions to that rule that I can think of and they are right at 400, not chasing 5. This isn't a bench press where the bench takes a substantial amount of the load for you.
Sh*t....I bet his training isn't optimal either. He should probably press 4-5 times a week.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

Maybe stephen runs marathons.
Maybe Richard Hawthorne struggles to make it up the steps.
Maybe they both love themselves

f*ck no. This dude had ONE good meet, and has had grip issues. So what does he do? Train with straps. Great idea hur dur dur
I hope he proves me wrong, but I don't see it happening.
And y'all are being dummies. Steve is incredibly strong, and while he does have a very high bf% how can you guys say that he must feel like crap or how it doesn't appeal to you and yadda yadda. I was 260 35% bf in my childhood, but you know what I wasn't doing? Training heavy, and moving around. I bet he feels damn fine having been at that weight for a longish time, and moving the kind of weight that he does. If he is still 10x more active than the average american, and trains in the environment that he does he most likely isn't going to be as terribly unhealthy as an average human at that same weight.
You know what also isn't "healthy"? Dan Green walking around at 270ish and 15-20% bf. The human body isn't made for that sh*t, it's not made for 90% of the crap a lot of us aspire to. So who cares what the kid is doing, he puts his work in and is a strong mofo so good for him.http://www.youtube.com/user/njvfevfw

So the EliteFTS SSB that I bought last Friday literally went on sale for $100 less than what I paid today. What do you guys think the chances are of me getting a refund or store credit on that are?
I'm kinda pissed about that. I mean, obviously I was willing to drop the cash to get it, but if I'd have known it was going to be 25% off, I'd have waited a week.Best lifts in Compeition 560/350/650 and a 1560 total @ 290lbs

Well unlike others I'm not pretending I care about his health or saying "he must feel like ****" or whatever. And I'm certianly not doing it in an attempt to compare myself to him. I don't give a **** what he does as it doesnt' affect me, not trying to be an internet hater but honestly in this instance I guess I am.
I think Jamie Lewis once said in regards to jeff lewis, "No one gives a fuk how much you lift if you have cellulite on your knees". I mean obviously malanichev, lillebridge (insert top lifter here) aren't "lean", but they sure as **** aren't morbidly obese either.
Even back when Dave Tate wrote that article about eating however many xl pizzas drenched in olive oil and like 5 mcdonalds breakfast sandwiches etc etc.. You could tell he lifted weights, he wasn't lean, but again, not obese. JM Blakely the "to beat the man you have to out eat the man" guy who recommended force feeding to bulk was never half that fat.
inb4 negs idc that's my opinion"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

A couple of good interviews for anyone interested.
They didn't go into too much detail about training but Kim trains 3x a week trying to squat and bench 2x a week. And Ray pretty does the Cube Method right now.1372 @ 205

After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko
