Back in the college days when I trained in a gym full of frat bro's doing chest and bi's errday people would attempt to confiscate my bench pretty often. I'd usually just wait until they got finished with the set they were on, and put the weight back on without saying anything. I only ever actually had to have words with someone once, and he got over it pretty quick. Some people are just inconsiderate or oblivious. Either way it's annoying.

it is usually like that
It is the invitation that got me worked up.... I work in a psychiatric hospital so I'm used to commit until the end.
On campus gyms I've found it is a lot easier to just reach agreement.... especially if its a hot chick.
insane enough to pull 750x3?
Common gym etiquette doesnt seem to apply for some...Best total: 1715 (600-415-700) raw with wraps.

Got to train today with DLT, great dude. He's disgustingly strong at any pressing movement involving shoulders and way bigger in person that I could have thought. I'll be training with him Friday too. Think he's pulling and squatting, I'm squatting but will probably pull too. Want to try out sumo

Anyone ever deal with immobility on only one ankle? It makes one side drop lower than the other while squatting and makes me twist a bit in the hole and flares up the old SI joints.
Im probably going to go see a sports medicine doc or physio and see what they say. Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't seem to mobilize it any more by myself.

my left ankle has significantly less mobility than my right. I've noticed that when I train calves more often and stretch the crap out of them at the bottom, I have more mobility in my bad ankle. SRS. When I say stretch I mean 10 seconds on every rep at the bottom stretching without my heals touching the floor. This should help you gain some mobility.

I do something like that already, front of the foot on a box and stretching the **** out of my Achillies, but there's like an impingement in the front of the ankle that jams it from going any further. It's a ****in piss off.
I'll try doing it with weight though and see if it helps. Maybe I'll traction it before hand with a band and then do it.

I decided to jump the gun and fix my Do-Wins and this is the finished product. It's slightly reverse rake but I like it.
This would also go down in internet history as the first picture of a weightlifting shoe with a removed heel as I for one could not google the **** out of other people who have done this before.
I hope this helps other cheap bros like me decide if they want to fix their shoe.Last edited by isiahdevilla; 09-09-2014 at 11:13 PM.

I dunno why but it seems I cannot attach an image to my post.
Anyway, by "fix my Do-wins", I mean send them to the cobbler. lol
All they did was remove the wooden heel in between and re-glue the bottoms to maintain the grip. So the bottom would be the same.
YMMV depending on the cobbler but mine did an excellent job and cost around ~$12

I have the same. It's a small bone which is blocking the joint to make full ROM. Causes lower back pain only on my right side and sort of pain in my glutes when I sit for a long time. Also makes every movement I do uneven and right goes deeper than left. Can't push out my right knee too.
I think if a physio can not fix it, a heel correction in your shoe might be the only solution.
My physio actually told me that's the way to get it gone, unfortunately doesn't work for me either.1890 ipf meet total

After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko
