I'm a fan already of Juan. Hope he can keep that tight waist as he progresses. Solid physique. Don't think he has committed to the O? He recently said he wants to make a splash and be able to potentially crack the top 5 not just go to place in the back of the pack. He is in no rush and I respect that. Anyone know if he has decided one way or the other?

Anyone who gets serious about lifting comes to realize the reality of all the big names in fitness using stairnoids and things like browth whoremoans so lets get back on topic of big muscley mans in little underwears. None of this gay ass muscley women on stairnoids crap.
Spike92 is 15.
^ place this in your sig to remind the world that Spike92 is indeed 15 and will never be anything other than 15.
When im not hungry I eat. When Im tired I train. When I feel like giving up I push harder.

welp i thought the topic was dead. guess not. the point i was trying to make is that you shouldn't believe everything a person says with the appeal to authority fallacy. she very well may never take days off, train 3 hours a session, and never de-load. on the other hand, she very well may be training 45min 4 days a week and on a boatload of drugs. who knows? i'm not going to be posting anymore on the topic but if you'd like, you can pm me

hes not competing
In terms of videos being put out it isn't very good coverage. I think we have seen one Phil video "training" legs, have we even seen a Kai one besides the 15 second instagram clips? I think it was 2011 or 2012 when we had a Phil/Kai video almost every 2-3 weeks. It doesn't need to be some high quality video with crazy editing. When Jay did the O last year he had Dave Bourlet (MADMAX on the MD forums) film on his phone the whole time I think and that's good enough for me. It should be part of their contracts to post videos. It's not like they don't have anyone to film them, they ALL probably have a legion of followers in their gym.Last edited by B-Neva; 08-22-2014 at 09:56 AM.

It's all relative to in that coverage could be said to be "fine," but what is it fine relative to?
It's certainly been better before, thus it is true that it could be improved, but how much improvement could be done?
Well look back the days of Romano/Palumbo running show on MD and how many ****ing UNREAL videos/interviews they churned out covering the USAs/Nationals and all the up and comers. Even look at when they moved on to RX, same thing.
So yeah you could say it's "fine" relative to the 80s where you had to wait for the magazines to come out to find anything out or even the 90s where it was magazines and maybe a few tv shows (but then again this is better coverage than we have now in the sense that it is on national TV). However it is CERTAINLY NOT fine relative to other sports and even other "fringe" activities, ffs there are NORMAL PEOPLE aka NOT MILLION DOLLAR COMPANIES that live stream video games in HD, you're telling me that in 2014:
The large majority of shows aren't live streamed
There are certain shows that go almost entirely WITHOUT coverage
Even WITH the lack of great coverage for the shows above relative to our technology's capacity and compared to other fringe activities, they STILL can't be bothered to produce decent 15-20 minute videos updating the fans in the going ons with the BIGGEST athletes in the supposed "Superbowl of Bodybuilding"

Have to agree about lack of coverage, in this day and age there is just no excuse.
You have the HodgeTwins on magazine covers and a million kids looking up to them and guys like Ogus, Piana, and even Jason Blaha because they put out content, are visible and actually interact with fans.
It's sad when a bunch of amateurs and people who don't even compete are leagues more popular than the supposed top pros in the sport.
This would be the equivalent of some kid making basketball videos from his house being bigger than Lebron or Kobe or something.*Korean Crew*

It's not even that, TBH I would rather see a "day in the life" video than training, but it's always cool to see a bad ass workout.
If other sports coverage was like bbing, then you would see 1 out of every 20 games broadcasted on TV. Training 5x a week for 12 weeks before a show, you can't tell me out of 60 workouts they can't film more than 1-2?Workout Log
