So as a body building fan since the late 80's i have a question for you all..... Can the Phil Heath "3D look" be replicated by others or is that a genetic thing? Lot of people look bigger, wider and thicker but i think his "3D look" is what gets him the wins. comments?

i think its genetic thing and/or cultivated from the beginning of the career, thats my opinion

One thing I have come to realize is that the streaming video did us no justice. The more I view the pics from the judges view, the more I realize we couldn't see what they saw. They have the cat-bird-seat (as they should) in which they can see it all. Looking at the photos, simple, it could have went either way.

Ramy killed Branch in muscularity, proportion, symmetry and the fact that his physique doesn't look like a bag of dog crap put together. Yes Branch was grainy and in nasty condition, so what? Is that all we're looking at these days. So daym tired to read posts or comments like this like conditioning is the end all. It is the separating factor WHEN ALL OTHER THINGS ARE EQUAL. Ramy takes a giant dump on Branch's physique in all other areas. (MD Lex1247)

Ramy dominated front and side shots.. so lets just say he loses those two back shots, he wins FDB, FLS, SideChest, Sidetricep, and MM.. why are the back lat spread and bdb trump all those other poses?

And? Ramy has a better physique than Branch but if your conditioning is off you will lose to people with worse physiques than you.
