Pretty disappointed with the result but congrats Phil on the 4th. Though I'm a bit surprised he got perfect scores.

No one clearly won? That's a subjective opinion that YOU have. While 80% of this forum says that KAI won. So why should anyone take stock into your statement that "No one clearly won", when it's obvious the vast majority believe Kai did? You'll simply hide behind the judges, because it suits your argument, despite there being clear conflicts of interests between Philumbo, and the judges of the Mr. Olympia. How about you be objective, and take into consideration that this is just a shady organization, looking to make money.

Phil being pretty classy in this post-contest interview honestly. Said he and Kai just acknowledged that they respect each other when they were talking in line before the placements were called.
I'm sure both Kai and Phil hear us see us going nuts at each other as fans and it fuels their rivalry, but it's good to know they respect each other.

Cutler.. what a dick. I like that you guys think he's one of the greats for the sport, every time I see him he seems fake and half into it. Best part, "I'm friends with both guys, but I gotta say.... Kai was out of line." Nothing about Phil encroaching on Kai's space or instigating. Talk about one-sided bullchit.
100% disappointment in the IFBB, every last one of them. THIS was why I wasn't hyped about the Olympia this year and THIS is why I won't be ever again. It's not about where you are today, but what you're doing right now, to build a better you for tomorrow. - Me

He threw Kai under the bus to everyone watching for tossing his hair when Phill was encroaching the entire time. Yea, he's a dick. He should have said both guys acted poorly, or neither. He was swinging on Phil's nuts for being his training buddy and successor.
Jay also half-ignored people during some of the ceremonies. He does what he can do get publicity and that's it. There is nothing genuine. It's not about where you are today, but what you're doing right now, to build a better you for tomorrow. - Me

Yes, he did say that. In the opening discussion before the events started on the livestream. Made no mention of Phil encroaching on Kai's space, but about Kai flipping his hair. About it not being boxing or wrestling.
I wasn't leaning towards anyone entering this competition. In fact I figured Phil would bring a package to dominate and Kai would falter. Didn't happen. Same result anyways. Disappointed in the IFBB and will no longer be excited for subsequent events. Its a wonder how they'll skew the televised special for NBC.It's not about where you are today, but what you're doing right now, to build a better you for tomorrow. - Me

Ill chime in, never was a fan of Jay. Sad to see Kai get ousted by Phil. I really think Kai had the better package this year, although I will give it to Phil in that he definitely brings the "beauty" of a Mr. Olympia physique. Although, I thought he was much better last year and I can see the stomach creeping up on him.
Glad Shawn got 3rd! His lines are the most aesthetic on the stage, but I wasnt overly impressed by his size.Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA)
