I currently make a huge 1500 calorie bowl of oatmeal with added milk, PB, whey, etc. not sure the exact macros off hand, but tons of carbs and protein! Low/moderate fats.
I've been splitting this into 2 meals: breakfast & post workout. I need to consolidate this to only one meal however to get more calories in for the day.
What meal would be best to put this in? I was thinking post workout to help recovery. Especially since I'm not that hungry in the morning. Or would I be better off using this as an energy source say 1-2 hours before the gym.
I know at the end of the day it's all calories in/ calories out. Just wanted to get some opinions, thanks

I easily hit 1000 cals every morning with the following, and that's with no/minimal carbs. So adding in a bowl of oatmeal at the end of it would be easy as I can always eat more after I'm done this brekky:
4 eggs fried in fat (I usually use beef tallow)
4 homemade brekky sausages/patties (I use a mix now of beef, kangaroo, and pork)
1 avocado
That right there hits about 1K. Add in your oatmeal for dessert
