Sport: An activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment.
Powerlifters compete against others, they use physical exertion also. How does this not fit the criteria of a sport?
I can tell you have never even been to the gym in your life, get the **** outta here you non-lifting *******.

could sit around in a circle with 9 of your closest friends and see who can whack off the hardest, that's group competition using physical exertion too
doesn't make it a sport
fair enough. i still stick to only actual pro's live it as a lifestyle, but whatever

don't try reasoning with idiots on a bodybuilding website that just don't get it
not sure why anyone would say bodybuilding/powerlifting aren't sports when you do the same chit as every other sport. you train and then you compete, is that not the essence of a 'sport'?
