Got to do a 3mile walk with slight jogging on Monday. But with Oldest grandson B-day yesterday the celebration was on Sunday & Tuesday. Tuesday was not too bad not too much overindulgence. Today back at keeping diet in place and hope after his football practice today to get home and do some cardio. Gonna try to update more this week and keep my self more accountable.
@EmmittSmith22: Circumstances may force you to change your short-term goals. That doesn't mean you can't stay focused on your long-term goals.

Today was a cardio day but instead i stayed at home and did some meal prepping. Got to be more disciplined when it comes to my cardio.....tomorrow is medium day on all pro beginners.
Personal growth is achieved from failure, this counts in the gym and in real life.

Well my day just went tits up. I had logged something with 0.5 of a portion and thought I had a lot of Kcal left. Later remembered I had had 1.5 and not 0.5. Have two options now: Do a lot of cardio or just let this day go.
Do deficits work in 2-3 days? 2 days ago I had a 400 deficient (than my usual goal). You think that can cover up for it?

Let it go. Mistakes happen. Not the end of the world.
Do cardio if it was part of your plan, but don't do extra cardio simply because you ate too much.
I used to do that and it can really mess with your head.

Calories in vs calories out is a permanent thing, not just day by day. Don't let one day get in your way though. If you feel that bad about it make up for those extra cals the next day or do some extra intensity exercise My eating has actually been terrible this week, but I've been having some amazing workouts so it's a net positive IMO. good luck bro.

Do whatever works best for you - there's no set rules, and you only have to answer to yourself. If you want to do extra cardio, then do it. Think about this - a lot of people that use MyFitnessPal do extra exercise just so that they can eat more.
If you want this to be the last time that you will be overweight, then do the extra cardio. Learn your lesson. There's a price to be paid for overeating. It takes a long time to lose weight (and not deal with issues such as loose skin). You might think "oh **** it, it's just one day". Well, those "one days" add up. You give yourself some leeway today, then you do it again twice next week, and again and again, until one day you just say to hell with the diet and you gain back everything you lost.
We're overweight for a reason. Suck it up, pay the price. Your 6-pack abs are worth it, right?

The girlfriend got some Hot-N-Ready pizza without thinking about it. Had three slices of it. Made me feel kinda meh, but luckily it's the only thing I've eaten today other than some cereal/milk when I got home from work this morning. So, I think I'll survive.

We don't get the little debbie products down here, but I tell you what, man. After 10 years living here, Walmart started carrying this brand not too long ago:
lil debbie knockoffs, but i bought a box of each kind they had. honey buns, powdered donuts, fudge rounds, buddy bars, and swiss cake rolls. after 10 years, it was so worth it. made myself sick from eating so much of them, ran out within the week, haven't bought anymore since.

Well I said i was going to cut back but I ended up doing 2 hours of cardio again today but Ill rest tomorrow. I took in slightly under 1800 calories today which is good also. Im resisting the urge to get this ice cream.....
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

I dunno, I think the best way to stop binging is to remove the temptation to begin with. If you know that you can have ice cream or candy bars or pizza any time you want, why would you ever binge? Besides, I know exactly what my stomach looks like, thank you very much (and so does everybody else, because I run shirtless outside). :P

Today I thrashed my legs in the gym - great workout I was really proud of.
And then I went to work (seasonal job) which spun off an 8 hour marathon of stress, emotion and some very good news at the end - a wonderful job opportunity for a permanent position with full, excellent benefits.
Normally I would handle this wine, a rich dinner and dessert. I did THIS instead and damn it, it was just as delicious:
Proats with peanut butter cookie whey and egg whites cooked in, topped with sliced banana, natty pb, and "frosting" (greek yogurt, stevia, banana whey, xanthan). It brought my total cals 200 over goal, but still under maintenance.
My legs and my emotions are grateful for the treat, though!Aug 1 - Nov 1 Transformation

I'm at 2,500 for the day but RunKeeper says I burned 1,051 calories on my run today (I normally run about 4 miles, but I doubled it today). I got this new app on my iphone called "Zombies, Run!" and man, I tell you what, what an awesome game. It's an audio story, and at random times you hear the zombies and you suddenly have to run freaking fast or they get you. You rebuild your city by going out and running, and the more you run, the more you collect stuff to rebuild your city. Fun, fun, fun. One of the most fun times I've had exercising, and each mission takes about an hour to complete. So I have several months worth of missions to run. This weight loss is going to be so easy!
