Einstein said that there is a 4 dimensional fabric known as space-time, which we are all familiar with, which includes the notion that time is relative to the observer.. He also believed that the past present and future all exist simultaneously... Whether this is true or not is yet to be seen... Now if you go out and ask 100 people on the street if they believe that the past present and future exist simultaneously, I'm pretty sure you're going to get a lot of doubters... To me, this seems like a failure to understand time.....

Anything that happened before you were born is unknown...do you know for sure it existed?..not really..everything in past is unknown..You have the memory of it but that is still is NOW..so in reality only thing you can be sure of is THIS MOMENT. It's proven by science sure but I think there are lot of things that can't be proven by science. Universe is a huge concept and logical mind cannot grasp it otherwise we would've ruled over the universe by now.

I am not arguing that time isn't real, so that example doesn't really fit here... All I'm suggesting to you is that we do not fully understand time, yes it's fair to say we probably have a decent grasp, but we do not understand it completely... If we completely understand time, then why are there different theories about it? Some would argue that time doesn't exist, some say everything that has ever happened and ever will happen exists all around us, some would say that time is linear... If time was understood completely then why would so many different people have different thoughts about it? I am not even giving my opinion on what I think time is, all I'm saying is that it is not completely understood.. To think we completely understand ANY natural laws is a bit of a step, as we are constantly discovering new ideas...
