Hi All,
I'm currently on a 2100 calorie diet. Trying to lose body fat while maintaining/slightly building lean mass. My nutritionist told me to drink anywhere from 1-3 gallons of water per day.
I sip on my water regularly but at times i'll take down 30-40oz's at one time.
2 Questions:
1. I'm 6'-0, 223lbs, how much water do I need per day? (routine is usually 50oz in the morning, 50oz noon/afternoon, 50oz throughout workout (late afternoon), and 50oz at night.
2. Is it bad to drink 30-40oz's of water at a time?
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

No that's fine. Nothing wrong with what you have going on.
I'm a carnal, organic anagram / Human flesh instead of written letters / I rearrange my pathetic tissue / I incise, I replace, I'm reformed / I eradicate the fake pre-present me / Elevate me to a higher human form / The characters I am, made into a word complete / Then I'll be the new norm

Op you would do well to listen to this ^ advice.
If your "nutritionist" is telling you to arbitrarily drink large quantities of water a day that person is not doing so from a basic understanding of physiology but rather from something they likely read on the internet or in a muscle mag. Your body has a very good mechanism for maintaining hydration and that's your thirst mechanism. Outside of very intense activity in the heat, which does require some strategy, thirst quenching is all you need.
