But today I went out and bought some nice fitting vneck white tee from banana republic, some dark cuffed slim sweatpants, and some white nikes.

Looks fkin dope and its so comfortable. What do you guys think of that simple outfit? I feel like im gunna start wearing simple chit like that more often

Hey brahs any one know where to pick up some nice swoop neck t shirts (not sure if that is what they are called, I just like the neckhole to basically be huge and sit more on the traps and show off chest)

I bought a bunch of these in newzealand at cotton-on, but the cotton-ons here in the USA don't seem to carry the same style. I only found one that I liked and another one at TopMan in NYC.

Any recommendations?

Personally, i dont like it.i think it looks too try hard when i see a guy with a red shirt and red shoes or with any other colors.

I think they're trying to market to the average joe. Gap and Old Navy do a similar thing. The fit of the clothes on their lookbooks/models are terrible to make it more relatable to normal people. If a noob sees a 10/10 model, he's going to be like "yeah, I will never look like that" but if he sees a model who dresses just slightly better than him, then he will think that he could maybe look like the model if he bought the clothes the model has on.

You realize J Crew Factory is a step down from traditional J Crew products? Different market. As AhDo mentioned they are targeting the average joes.

I want to get better with streetwear tbh. I do rock sweatpants, sweat shorts, black denim, black sneaks, etc that has some street influence.

Dressing up is good for my 9 to 5 grind. Even then I dress prep with a bit of "**** you" in my style, meaning a bit more stylish or wearing stuff to make myself more noticeable.

On the weekend I may rock some duck chinos, black vneck, and black sneakers due to comfort.

I use the belt to create a border between my pants/shirts srs. I feel that I have a really blocky upperbody and a lot lankier and leaner legs, so I think it looks stupid doing tucked shirt + pants without it, something is missing. I love how some men can wear slim pants, slim white shirt, brown shoes and not wear belt. With like a perfect tuck. I have a RL buddy who always does this, looks amazing srs.

Although Roshes/574's are considered "basics" i wouldn't recommend them as a "versatile" sneaker.
For versatility you best stick with low-pro sneakers like

It depends on what you mean by matching your shirt. Wearing a white shirt with white shoes - fine. Black with black - fine. Every once in a while I'll see some moron wearing something like this:



and it looks absurd. Obviously, extreme example and really you probably shouldn't be wearing jordans with most of this thread anyways, but yeah don't match your shirt and shoes in an obnoxious way.

If swoop (scoop I think it's called) neck, go to River Island and get theirs, amazing fit and quality. Have 2, have held up really nicely.

true but there isn't any need. I would probably still wear something nice(out of respect) to a wedding but a plain t shirt is just as flattering as a 3 piece tailored hugo boss suit when your aesthetic

What do people on the misc think of LL bean boots?

Looking for a pair of boots for the winter that are no more than £100. I like the fact that these are practical and I could wear them fishing/hill walking aswell.
