New guy checking in, sup brahs. Would like to expand my general outfit from Quilt Jacket + Henley + straight jeans + AM90s to something where I can incorporate a pair of Beeswax DBs/BA2s + slim fit pants/jeans + OCBD + half zip sweater + fall/winter jacket.
Nothing fancy, but will be a definite step up and make me stand out in a room.
Tricky thing is, looking for cheap, reliable places to buy this stuff. Particularly OCBDs, navy pants and jackets.
ThanksMy name isn't Joe, Lee or Chuck. PM me if you want to know :)x

My girl got me some Tom Ford Noir for my birthday. Damn it's such a sexy scent. Gonna have to wear it for her. Brunch was great too.

No problem, Jeffy.
I'm not sure. I've been wrestling with the same debate. I mean, it's sale season, but they're being stingy this year, especially after some crazy, late-night deal that I believe someone in here took advantage of.
I'd wait as long as possible, but not so long that you don't have plenty of time for the unexpected + tailoring. I've heard some Claiborne suits are good for their price. However, I have no experience with them myself. I've also never seen a Thomson in person, but some guys in here or over at Dappered might share some of their experiences with you.

So where can a brah buy designer shoes on a bit of a sale?
When loubotin, Louis Vuitton, Tom ford, etc. are out of season, they have to go to some store where they're discounted, right? At least 15-20% off. Where does that happen? I've never seen designer shoes outside of their own store, except in shady/fake looking sites.Team GH15

Are blazers typically shorter in length in comparison to suit jackets?
Also, are double breasted blazers usually shorter or longer than regular blazers?Always striving to take it to the next level.

brahs, I'm not too well versed in formal wear materials. Is herringbone considered the most "formal" type of weave for a blazer? I'm looking at this blazer specifically: http://bananarepublic.gap.com/browse...&pid=969659002 and want something I can wear to formal events

She's a cutie sword. Good job and happy birthday.
Normally I'd say yes, but you look like you can rock it. It's not super tight on your midsection so I think it's wearable.
Ahhhh bust. That's the thing, it will take time to ship + I'll need a few days for tailoring. Might have to just jump on it. Going to have to try on J.Crew Ludlow in stores so I know my sizing.
I've seen some fit pics, and I think it looks pretty nice.
Thanks for the help man!
