Hey I like to eat a quarterpounder sometimes before but usually after working out.. my dad used to eat a few bigmacs before going to the gym to workout and he had 19 inch arms(of muscle) back in his 20's.
so i was wondering does anyone else eat mcdonalds like that?

Seriously people go over the top with the dieting, fast food isn't all that bad. Yeah it has alot of fat, also alot of protein. 1. It's good if you skinny and trying tor bulk and 2. We are all teens and most of our metabolism's are sky high so we can eat what we want basically as you see alot of skinny teens and all they eat is junk.
I hope that came out right, i cant be bothered to check it but basically fast food isn't the devil lol you can have it but i wouldn't recomend it every day.
Oh and to answer your question, no i don't have it everyday :P maybe once or twice a week.

Mcdonalds isnt good for you, the amount of suger & salt is extream.
I suppose you could make home made healthy burgers if you wanted.
Get ground beef with onions and put flour on it, then wack in on the grill. Try and eat whole meal bread rather than white. For a shake, just have ice cream, milk and a scoop of whey.

go for subway instead if you gotta eat fast food. IN fact subway is actually really good and in my preference it tastes better than McDirties.
But seriously all these people saying that fast food isn't that bad for you, in moderation its ok but still you dont need it there are better choices and saturated fat never helped anyone do anything so.....Best lifts
Bench 300
Squat 430

Awesome reply dude, i like how you got into detail and totally backed your answer up.
And the dude who said it's okay in moderation. Thats what i meant, i read my post back and it kinda went the wrong way but i also meant that people on this forum **** themselves at the sight of a big mac when tbh it's not all that bad.

I think people need to look past the PROTEIN and FAT content and think about damage eating McD's constantly might do to other parts of you. Its been mentioned but the cholestorol/salt/sugar isnt good for you.
Once in a while yeah no problem, but there are far better options. Give me a bit of grilled chicken anyday

Not always the case, If you watched Supersize me there was that guy who ate 3 or 4 big macs a day, he was lean, had normal cholesterol. and overall in good health, and he ate this amount of big macs for 20ish years. It all depends on how your body processes the food, the burgers are actually not terribly bad, sure they are high in fat, but eating fat is necessary to having strong and properly functioning body, with lipids your body would literally not function. Other things at McDonalds like their fries are terrible for you.
Not to mention most people here think they are dietitians, they probably don't even how proteins are made and are talking about how eating fat rich foods are bad for you.Last edited by viciouspoultry; 02-26-2007 at 03:32 PM.
