It didn't go well, I won't lie.
Out of the 49 required pushups, I did 32.. on the core endurance I got 1.5 minutes out of 3 which.. the flex test I got 22 out of 45 (not flexible) and on the run I got 12 minutes and 9 is a perfect score.
I've got a lot of work to do gents
That's the core test required for the Pinhttp://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=167930303 - Luzz's Log

Yah man.. its for a regional police service in my area. Police here have the opportunity to complete this test each year and attach a pin to their uniform stating they had completed it and meet the standards.
The service I am in the hiring process for, require recruits to be complete it after the interviews are passed and before training starts.http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=167930303 - Luzz's Log

Squeezing too tightly with either hand can cause issues. The best way I've had it described is hold a gun like you'd hold an egg. Firmly, but not too tight/to crush it. If your knuckles turn white your gripping too tight.
Its a balancing act between grip, locking out your wrists, elbows, etc. The bulk of shooting (assuming you can line up the sights on target properly) is maintaining a smooth & steady trigger press to the rear.
The break on a Glock trigger can be enough to make the sights shift/pull your shot at distance. Put a coin on your front sight and dry fire until it doesn't fall off.
When you dry fire/hear a click your sights should still be lined on target/be unwavering.
When sitting at home watching TV I like to dry fire at characters on TV as it forces you to punch out fast and press the trigger fast before the scene changes.

Thats the thing tho man. I feel like I have a good grip. I dry fire with a coin on top and it doesnt fall off. I am unreal at dry firing. I feel like my phuckin gun is bent or something.
Maybe il try loosening the grip with my support hand.
I've got a bunch of things to try. Hopefully I can get to the range with some bullets and work through all of them.

You need trigger time. Start at the 3 yard line if you have to until you can get a group of 5 shots all in the 10 ring. Then move to 5 yards, then 7, then 10, etc...
Before you know it, it will be no big deal...
This drill helped me tighten up my groupings big time

Home from the 'Stan. Permanent, instead of R&R, so about 4 months early. It certainly sucks giving up 2 more R&Rs when one of them paid per diem and airfare to wherever I want, also gave up a $10k assignment incentive, and 30 days of paid leave (well, not to mention 4 more months of $8.5k paychecks, lolz), howeverrrrrrrr........ no regrets at all. Very long story, most not appropriate for a public venue, but basically there's only so much incompetency I can deal with. People have come close to getting hurt, or worse, more than once due to incompetent management, and I just can't be a part of that. Especially when, as a program manager, i'm partially responsible. Like wtf..... sharing responsibility even though I get overrided on the bad decisions, no thanks Jeff. And the way things are going, saying that a congressional inquiry could be a result is not a stretch. I've testified in the past as a witness to something, that was bad enough; not ending up on fox news being blamed for something.
So anyways.......big changes on the horizon. Have a few options that I've been working on for a while (I've been trying to convince myself to come home early for quite some time now), not sure which I'm going with though. One of them, and funny enough it's the one I'm most leaning towards, will put me in a patrol car again. I kind of just feel like I need to get back to the basics, take a step back, etc. The other options I'm considering are also LE again as well. I think I'm just realizing that although getting away from it all is good once in a while, I genuinely enjoy it, I just need to figure out in what capacity.

Fuark, quadruple homicide near/in my city.
http://www.thestarphoenix.com/news/s...919/story.html
TISDALE, Sask. - A relative of a woman and three children murdered in Saskatchewan says their killer took photos of the bodies and sent them to the children's biological father.
Tim Funk says the killer was Latasha Gosling's boyfriend and that he was controlling and jealous. Funk, who was Gosling's cousin, says the man sent pictures of his victims' bodies to the cellphone of the children's father.
The man police believe is responsible for the killings is Steve O’Shaughnessy, The StarPhoenix has learned.
The 27-year-old Gosling and her children Jenika, 8; Landen, 7; and Janayah, 4, were all killed in the apparent murder-suicide in Tisdale.
Police say four bodies were found in a mobile home in the northeast Saskatchewan town. After the murders at the mobile home in Tisdale on Tuesday, police say the killer took his six-month-old baby to a home in Prince Albert. O’Shaughnessy then allegedly killed himself early Wednesday morning and left the baby alive.
Gosling was separated from her husband, but not officially divorced, and had been with the new boyfriend for the last couple of years, Funk said.
The husband often went to visit his three kids: Jenika, Landen and Janayah. They had been living most recently with Gosling and the boyfriend in a rented mobile home in the town of Tisdale, northeast of Saskatoon.
The boyfriend "didn't like it at all" when the husband came around, Funk said.
On Tuesday, the husband received the gruesome photos in a text sent to his cellphone, Funk said. It was the day before the husband's birthday.
"He sent them to him as a birthday gift."
