Had a half day myself Sarge got us hooked up. Half my squad worked from 0630-1100 and the other half from 1100-1500 and I’m off for Christmas
No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

Fukkkk that sucks man. I legit sign up for OT every holiday bc of the 2x/3x pay. I get mad if I don’t get scheduled for holidays most time lol
I like the yearly shift rotations. Would be nice to get a good spot and not have to worry about losing it tho
edited lol
I definitely didn’t mind nights. The entire time I was a full time student tho so my life was a complete mess lol. Nights wasn’t awful tho.Last edited by Godyssey; 12-25-2018 at 04:04 PM.

Not often it happens here but 2 coppers shot while responding to a domestic. One in the face, the other in the neck. Amazingly both have survived.
POS ended up putting one in himself though... skirt. Dude was in his 70's.#61
* The opinions of this salty dog are out of bitterness and spite, no matter the advice given the bottom line is that you should turn the other direction and walk away from law enforcement. Also change your criminal justice major or I will punch your face.

Does anyone else's agency place a ludicrous amount of emphasis on stats? I mean I'm not lazy but part of my proactivity as far as anything worthwhile honestly comes down to dumb luck sometimes.

It's just somewhat frustrating because my squad is really big on proactive arrests not even citations really, but I mean a lot of that in my experience so far has come down to literally just being in the right place at the right time. Like I'm still doing my job, regardless of what kind of numbers I'm bringing in. Plus my squad is all junior so they're super competitive about it and that's totally not my cup of tea. Like I'm the kinda guy that just comes in, does what needs to be done, and that's it. Also IDK about you guys but we get hammered if we're clear more than 15 minutes, so you're kind of on a timer to find things constantly.
