Remember that being there is their punishment. It is not your job to punish them, so don't do it. If they shank your brother, your job is to get them back under control using the minimum force necessary. Know and follow your rules for use of force.
Do your job, don't be an ass hole just because you can. Treat them like humans. Care, custody, and control. They still may not respect you, but at least they might not throw feces at you.
Trust no one, watch your back, watch your brothers'/ sisters' backs, don't take work home. Stay alert, stay alive.
Don't be afraid to seek help if the job starts getting to you.☆ MissChill Appreciation Crew ☆ Owner ☆ Σ ☆

So boyos, what has been your experience with professional courtesy. I have only had an issue with two states, Virginia and Georgia. Both I was going 5 miles over the speed limit, almost got written but didn't. I was completely respectful and didn't flash my tin, they saw it when I produced my DL. I have never written another LEO in all my years OTJ, I wanted too, but I have never.

I've been pulled over at least 5 times and none have been for just 5...
I'll hand my DL + ID and apologize for speeding. I have not been given a ticket. I was probably in the 15-20mph over range on the highway.
I work in the hood so I don't really see any LEO rolling through to even consider pulling them over. I don't even have radar so I don't pull speeders anyways.6'3" crew checking in
