Alright heres the situation I was approached by a model agent who said I could be a model if I got abs Im 16 6'3 about 190 ive lifted for a year and a half my maxes are 230 flatbench 250 for squat and I don't dead lift. id much rather be paid to have some pictures taken than work at mens warehouse which is my best bet right now. what calories should I be at? I play football and train for discus and shotput. i lift 4 days a week right now and do cardio 4 days and train my throws 1 day a week. i need help i don't know where to start. i was 215 i got down to 155 when i started working out and stop eating garbage in about 2 months but i didn't have abs then. i gained 35 pounds in around 13 months. i know im rambling i just need advice. thank you

You should include your current BF% of 14% in the post
You will need to be 12% and under to have abs. Model abs probably closer to 9%.
You will need to know your maintenance calorie level.
From there it is as simple as eating at a deficit until you have abs.
Being your size and activity level the fat should melt off with proper diet, if fat loss is the only priority you can be pretty aggressive with your deficit if done smart.MAY THE PROGRESS BE WITH YOU!

Hi!
No need to beat your self up over this. every once in a while we do loose sight of things. perfectly normal. what i usually do is tackle the food first; reduce my portion although i cant seem to stay off the sweets but i do control how much and how often i get them, walk a lot and work out.
working out pick out a routing you can easily keep up with and as you go your tolerance builds up and your ability to do more also increase

Yeah did this "agent" take you into a back room with a large black couch in it? Just saying man...adults who approach 16 year old kids and say "you could be a model"...
Did he ask you to lift up your shirt? Did you?
"Hmm yeah you've got what it takes to make it big, kid, just step over here to my van..."
Just saying. Anyone can get a business card printed. Be careful OP.Started 2013: 450 lbs

Honestly if I were in your shoes I would focus on putting on mass and making progress in your sports. At 16 you're producing a **** ton of test. You're going to grow bigger and quicker than you will in 2-4 years.
As long as you aren't obese, which I don't feel like you are by reading OP, you have a ton of time ahead of you to cut down to abs. Finish off high school lean bulking. Then cut. Your college self will thank you."The hardship of the exercises is intended less to strengthen the back than to toughen the mind. The Spartans say that any army may win while it still has it's legs under it; the real test comes when all strength has fled and the men must produce victory on will alone." (Pressfield,1998, p.78)
