So I rep them full ROM for more reps than he inched them, re rack them without even touching the ground, then take my T shirt off revealing my physique in my stringer tank. And he literally left the gym immediately after.

I've experienced the same thing each time I've been to HI. If you venture outside of the tourist areas like Waikiki or Ala Moana, the locals are pretty open about their disdain for mainlanders. Not sure that it's really a racial thing for them -- I kind of get the feeling it's more of a cultural bias. For those of you who surf, think of guys like John John Florence or the Irons bros (RIP Andy). Those dudes are all white as fukk, but they are treated as full fledged Hawaiians by everyone there because they grew up in HI.
