Girlfriend went out alone with 60-year old man. I'm pissed. How would you react?

Hi guys, been arguing with my girlfriend all night about this, trying to get some other opinions.

So my girlfriend meets this guy while she is working who says he can maybe offer her a job in the summer. He comes to the restaurant she works at three times and is very friendly with her and her boss. He invited her to go to dinner and karaoke alone on the night of July 4th. When she told this to me, I immediately told her it was a bad idea, and not to go. But, she said she already agreed to go and went anyway. So, July 4th, she comes back at like midnight and tells me all about it. She met him after her work (5pm) and spent the next 7 hours with him. Dinner, going to the falls nearby, coffee, and karaoke. She danced with this guy, he held her hand, and not a bit of protest from her. He kissed her on the cheek and all that good stuff a boyfriend likes to hear about after spending his holiday alone. She was surprised that he was doing this, and thought she was just meeting a guy who was going to offer her a job.

I feel really disrespected by this, but my girlfriend says she is a victim and won't meet him ever again. She didn't know his purpose (I'm quoting her since she's talking right over my shoulder to me). She didn't expect an old guy could be attracted to young girls. She expected him to treat her like her father treats her since she's living here alone without her family (who live in Korea).

1) How did she not know? I told her not to do it, and we all know what is on every guy's mind irrespective of their age.
2) how would you guys respond?

Only after it happens does she say "I'm not going to do it again". Your situation is almost exactly the same as mine which happened very recently. Unfortunately this is something you're going to have to decide for yourself. I wouldn't break up with her over this however yes I totally agree with you that you were disrespected.

We've been together for a year and a half. Met in South Korea, live in the States now. Honestly I do not go out much, not nearly as much as she wants to, so she ends up going out with her girl friends, which I have no problem with. She has had dinner with a male classmate before (some Korean beta male - she's native Korean, first time in US all her life, afraid of foreigners as all FOB chicks seem to be), she told me he held her hand too (though she seems to forget this now), and then she never met the guy again. Seems to me her intentions were right, but most women are just naive AF and they don't understand that most of the time a man's (any man, old or young) priority is to **** her, not get her a job.
