Well, here is the short of it:
-Maybe a hernia in my hip. Which technically is not a hernia but instead an avulsion fracture. Hernia, I guess is more relatable when talking about a hole you made in your body where holes aren't supposed to be. I fully expect my next doctors visit to reveal that I am pregnant with triplets. Instead of humans, they are actually carnivorous little gnome gremlins that only eat testicles.
-Definitely a torn labrum.
-Definitely need some surgical intervention
-Definitely eating an emotional milkshake while I type this... actually its a literal vanilla milkshake. It's ok. I'm having a cheat meal life for the rest of my life. Which might come to fruition before this milkshake is empty. The emotional one. Not the vanilla one. $hit.
-EBook dropped today. Check out the sales page: *****://gumroad.com/l/hedstrong3
-I had a dream the other night that the 5th horseman of the apocalypse was named Tweeny and his affliction that he will lay waste to the Earth is that he gives everyone Shirley Temples but the Sprite is flat.
Anyway, training today:
Warm-up:
Barbell Complexes x10minutes- all for 10 reps with an empty bar: bench, cg bench, jm press, reverse curl, regular curl, front raise, military press, klokov press
Band stretched shoulders
Rolled thoracic spine and lats
Bench-365x1, 405x1, 415x1<~~~ kinda hard today so shut it down. All done with a 2 count pause.
350x3x3
Close Grip-355x3x3
Military Press-190x3x3
Pull-ups- 5x6
Bike- 12 minutes while I read a romance novel about an underground sex slave/snuff film syndicate. Its like a mix between SAW, 8mm, The Shinning and the Notebook.
My milkshake brings all the cries to my face.

After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko

Can't wait to see what the Train and Dr. Z have cooked up. The eBook and associated material have been awesome. Much appreciated. Blending your video commentary and style of music, I thought you might like MSI. Maybe you are already aware. They tend to lean more punk (not my style) but always make me want to beat someone with a plate in the gym. Enjoy...

Monday-7/14/14- Volume Bench-
Bench-235+90lbs in band tension-10x3
Close Grip-355x3x3
Strict JM Press-135x5x5
Pull-Ups-5x6
Tuesday- 7/15/14- Volume DL
DL-420+300 in band tension- 6x2
Took it easy on Tuesday because I wasn't even 24 hours out of a cortisone injection into my left hip. More benching later today. Messing around with some different training ideas right now. I'll get a write up on here of exactly what the plan is at some point in the near future. Hip feels funny. Like when I used to climb the ropes in gym class."Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats."

My training is eerily similar to yours (block westside fashion) minus accomodating resistance. I do overheads and close grip followed by dips and stuff one day. Another day max effort bench followed by flat bench for reps and paused benching. Similar stuff for squats/DL. Finishing up my accumulation phase this week while being sick. Have hit some mighty PRs in recent weeks. Can't wait to see where it leads you.
Lifetime PR's
Squat 445 w/ wraps (405 raw no wraps)
Competition Bench 275
Deadlift 435

i know you are. t-nation was being a little bitch to me and i stopped posting. trying to get refocused by posting and hopefully feeling some more accountability for progress. That sounds great man. I know there's talks of bringing an IPA meet to Bmore around december/january if you can compete in other feds. all your injuries just seem to be minor bumps. you heal pretty fast and always come back stronger. just keep grinding and you'll be fine.

Feeling pretty rundown lately. Some cool training stuff that happened last week:
-Benched 225 for 34 pretty easy
-Pulled 785 raw
-Didn't die
Just need to keep plugging away at this until this dense cloud of $hit fog washes out. Training in a little bit. Just needed a "for my feels" post in here."Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats."

Alright, last week of higher volume before I go into mind bending, soul rendering intensity. Next week is a taper/test week. Then I will have six weeks to hopefully get my $hit together enough to not suck at push pull nationals. This week so far:
Monday- Off. Did a strongman competition on Saturday that wiped me the f*ck out. I didn't train for it, have been slacking on conditioning, and am just really f*cking weak right now. Here were the results:
Tire Flip- 600lbs- 15 reps in 90s
Standing Arm over Arm Tires Pull- 350lbs- 50 feet in 39 seconds
Farmer Walk- 350lb tire- 300 god awful feet for some time that wasn't good
Deadlift ladder- Smoked everyone, went for a raw 750 on my last attempt. My hands were uneven because the damn bar didn't have any rings on it. Missed it at the knee because it looked like I was trying to And1 mix tape it around my back or something.
Tuesday-7/29/14
Deads- 440+300 in bands- 6x2
Sqs- 135x3x5, 225x2x5 <~~~~ getting over a hip issue that I hope is finally going away.
Pendlay Rows- 315x5x5
DH Pull Ups- 5x5
Rower- 1600m of 100 sprint/100 50%
Bike- 15mins
PM-
Reverse Hyper- 90lbsx50
Planks- 1min on/30s off x3
KB Bottoms up Clean- 50lbs x 3x5
Stretched
Wednesday- 7/30/14
Bench- 365x6x2
Cg- 375x3x3
MP- 200x3, 155x8
Stretched
PM- Epson bath/contrast shower- 20mins/10mins
Some heavier deads today. Should be terribly disappointing."Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats."

Just wanted to comment you're very poetic HT, you have quite the way with words.
Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

I'll put some pics up on here. The ****ing dog is jet black. It makes it hard to get pictures of him that don't look like blair witch style unfocused chipacabre pictures.
As far as the deadlift videos, just imagine a bad deadlift.
Bourbon. Its not just for breakfast anymore.
Good to hear you got in contact with him. My training right now is just some stuff I have thrown together. I am hoping to get up with him the last couple weeks between now and push pull nationals.
You seem surprised."Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats."

Monday-8/4/14- Holy hell, I love deloading.
Bench-325x3x3
DL-575x3x2
No wraps or chalk or belts or anything for any of those.
Squats- 135x2x5, 225x3x5<~~~ most I've been able to do in a while. I'd love to hit a 550 squat at the American Open. Hopefully this issue with my adductors has ****ed off. Absolutely no pain on any of these today. Might bump squats up to twice a week next week.
Pull-Ups-5x7<~~~ not bad for 270lbs.
Supersetted w/ Hassock Squatsx5x10<~~~~ deep exhales in the bottom position. Feeling supple.
Bike x some god awful amount of time."Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats."

-Barbell Complex- 10 of each- Bench, close grip, JMs, Military Press, Reverse Grip Curl, Front Raise, Klokov Press, Curls, repeated for 10 straight minutes
-Set my Thoracic/worked on chest compliance with a rumble roller and a strong band
-Smashed my pecs with a lax ball
-Smashed my triceps on the bar
-Did about 6 warm-up sets
Bench-345x3x1
DL-615x3x1

Session 2 today will just be some planks and light stretching. Might take tomorrow completely off. Testing bench on Friday. I am not too excited because every joint in my body feels like they got scoped with a broken fire hydrant filled with ****ing napalm."Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats."
