A lot of times parents send their kids to get autographs from famous people because they think the person won't deny a kid an autograph but would if an adult asked for an autograph. Then they sell that autograph as memorabilia. I've heard quite a few stories about celebrities not giving autographs to kids because they figure the kid isn't really a fan but their parents put them up to it.

I mowed tons of old people's lawns and shoveled their drive ways for a whole year and combined that with my birthday+Christmas money until I had $1,000 to enter this 'meet a random famous celebrity' thing my city has(you pay then meet a complete random celeb and spend 10 mins talking with them).
It was some side business the most popular hotel in my city ran, all the famous people stayed there during their visit to my area. Anyways I was so psyched, I had never met a real celebrity in my life and was hoping I could maybe get lucky and get to meet a sport's superstar or major musician. So I payed and scheduled my visit to the hotel a week in advance.
Fast forward, I was sitting on the bed of this nice hotel room that the guy at the front counter directed me to go to and that the random celeb would be in shortly. At this point i'm sweating bullets and nervous as ****. Then I heard a knock at the door and my heart DROPPED, I stuttered "c-c-come in". Then you will never guess who walked through that door, It was R. Kelly! I didn't recognize him at first but then once I heard him say something about 'golden showers' and I remembered his voice because my sisters always had MTV playing on the TV.
I was so in shock at the fact that I was alone in the same room as a celebrity that I could hardly form a sentence so I just gave him a hug and starred at him most of the time as he kept talking about his life and eventually started explaining to me that his life wasn't actually as great as you'd think and that he was under a lot of stress.
I said "I wish I could help you Mr. R. Kelly but I'm just a kid" and went on to tell him about how he was a much stronger human than I will ever be.
"There is one thing you could do to help me..." The words that changed my life forever.
I'll end this by saying, you have not lived a complete life until you've had THEE R. Kelly take a piss all over you... Literally.Sometimes when I say "I'm okay" what I really want is for someone to hold my hand, look at me in the eyes and say "I know you're not okay, Here's $1000.00" - Mattelaire

lol. Met a professional boxer (celeb) and he was cool and nice. But tbf, celebs get too mush sh!et for being @ssholes. They have one bad day or do one bad deed and are automatically considered public enemy #1

Met Wayne Gretzky when he came to a local junior game to scout Kyle Turris, he wasn't the nicest guy but I don't blame him because there were 10 other kids around him at one point, he signed my photo and I told him he used to play against my old man in bantam, he seemed uninterested but I can understand he had better sht to do

My Mom babysat Kobe Bryant and his sisters when they were his dad played for the Houston Rockets in the 80s before they went off to Italy so his dad could play overseas. We visited them at Kobe's former mansion in the late 90s in Cali. He was actually a cool dude at the time. He had a ridiculous amount of Adidas stuff when he was sponsored by them earlier and just gave me whatever I wanted and signed some rare high school basketball cards. That was the last I saw of him.
But Once he really got paid, he became a dick. Give a 22 year old a 100+ mil contract and bad things start to happen.

Don't really care about celebs... but the stories are kinda interesting itt. I imagine it would be so hard to be nice all the time, some people are probably so ignorant and beta.
Haven't really met any famous people, infamous (serial killers) yes.
Chris higgins of the canucks was a really smart guy, but we were drunksaka. Tomthetrainwreck

Went up to Mark Foster at Coachella and told him how much I loved his music. He thanked me and then I just peaced because I was starstruck. Didn't even mention my name or ask for a picture with him, because I feel like that would have been too invasive.
Jared Leto is chill too. I dunno, most celebs are pretty down to earth and you can't exactly tell them apart form other people when they don't have the spotlight on them.
Except for asap rocky. I spotted that kid a mile away. Stylish af.

Who was the trainer of Jason Genova? PJ Brawn? I saw him at the Arnold Expo in Columbus, just said " ayyyy PJ, does your angel dust still have 1,3 dim in it? " ( post-ban ), actually responded very well and told me they were filling it with another supplement that's decently new.
Only famous person I've met.
Nick Diaz was the opposite of what people would think, ****ing tall, pretty humble compared to his douchebag behavior on Tv.
Ryan Bader was chill, tooMakes bout $350/week crew ( srs )

Adam Sandler was pretty rude. I was at a coffee shop in LA last summer with a friend and he cut in line bumping into this teenage kid. The kid politely told him there was a line (I doubt he knew who it was, Sandler was wearing glasses) and he scoffed at him and said something like, "some of us have important lives and things to do pal" and pushed him away with one hand. Only a few people heard/saw him or I guarantee that whole place would have gone silent. Just a stereotypical celebrity kind of moment.

I met Slash & Ronnie Wood at the same time. Slash was nice, but a bit awkward, Ronnie Wood was awesome. Met snooker player Alex Higgins a few times, used to frequent a bar I worked in while in college. The most horrible, nasty, malignant man I've ever met in my life. Met Matthew McConaughey when he lived in Dublin for about a year, filming some chit film about dragons. He was cool as fuk, real down to earth.
