Sorry GetSwoley, and thanks, Caprica, for taking care of business.
Beach yesterday, poolside today. That's the good life, MrM. Looking great. Does your lady get jealous when other women check you out? She sounds pretty feisty.
Great to see you.

My plan is to maintain for the next twelve weeks. I have too many activities coming up that would be difficult I think for me to accomplish if I were in a deficit. Yesterday was a bit of a test. I wasn't able to complete my hike, cause I ran out of energy.
I'll continue doing ICF 3x a week and try to add more weight to each exercise, which I haven't been doing.

Not really sure of my goals for the next 3 months going to make it up as I go. Plan so far is a week around maintenance with a deload to give my poor joints n stuff a rest, then ill probably do another 2-4 weeks of sloooow cutting to see how low I can drop and then maintain/slow bulk until end of summer (around late august) then it's on with the Viking bulk.

In on this. I'm planning on doing a mini cut to offset the last week and a half's worth of mishaps. Once I'm satisfied and the scale show's consistent steady readings, I'll continue on with my bulk.

Im in. Its time to get s e r i o u s.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

This is going to sound crazy but im not only losing weight to get back to where I was and look more cut but im also losing weight to improve gas mileage. I started taking everything that doesnt need to be in the car out. (Im putting in a very small car audio system in my vehicle.)

Ill be trying to cut like when i was actually cutting well. Its been about a year since ive done anything. Ugh
Hopefully i can mop it up in this thread and start bulking by late fall/ winter"The hardship of the exercises is intended less to strengthen the back than to toughen the mind. The Spartans say that any army may win while it still has it's legs under it; the real test comes when all strength has fled and the men must produce victory on will alone." (Pressfield,1998, p.78)

Fun and exciting for sure. But sometimes it can be tough with 2 fiesty Hispanics going at each other but that doesn't happen often.
She most definitely shares my gelato, ice cream, pizza and taco love. It's great to have someone to share that with but if I don't enforce limits on us we would spiral out of control. She does think I'm nuts with how much I have in the freezer but she loves going to new spots to try.
I put together a split screen. The picture on the left isn't super clear but it was pretty much me at my leanest last summer, 143 lbs. Picture on the right was this past Saturday. I wasn't going to do it but I stepped on the scale this morning, 155.5 lbs.
