I don't understand people who think Messi is just going to perform some strange bit of magic today and win the World Cup. It is like thinking Lebron was going to carry a bunch of **** and win the NBA finals against that Spurs TEAM this year in the NBA.
Messi has no supporting cast outside of Di Maria (injured) and Aguero (injured). Germany aren't going to allow an inch of space for Messi. Germany will score at least 2 goals. Argentina can't score for ****.
Messi can still be the best player on his generation and not win tonight lads, chin up.

Germany winning 3-1. The quality of teams this time round has been disappointing as fuk, Argentina and Brazil even making the semi's is just ridiculous. Same with the Dutch to some extent as well. If Germany turn up they win, it;s as simple as that for me.
I'd be up for a draft, but I think it;d be better if we did player peaks post-2000Last edited by NasStan; 07-13-2014 at 06:45 AM.

If it's similar to what I've done before we have a certain number of people playing, we randomly allocate the order in which people can pick. And then you keep going down and then back up the list with everyone picking one player each until everyone has a team of 11. Then you vote on who has the best team.
The way I've done it though is that you have match ups against one another knockout style where people vote which team is better, eventually leading to a final of two teams, but that takes a while to do.1977

The only way argentina are gonna win today is if they manage to disturb the german play and its flow for 90min and messi somehow manages to score the magic decisive goal. would be a horrible and ugly game to watch, but at least with the "lesser evil" as a winner. theres no way argentina are gonna win convincingly.
But I doubt theyll manage to disturb the german flow. I'm guessing germany must be fed up with semis and finals (since 2002 always at least semis in WC and EC except 2004) and bring their A game. they should win it.

Let's be honest, we Germans deserve to win the WC. A great football nation and Argentina plays just ugly.
I lol at Beckham's latest interview saying how great Argentina is, Messi, Di Maria bla bla bla and saying Germany has no stars. Watch out for an epic 3-0 final, Argentina don't deserve sh't and Messi is overrated.
Oh and I still can't believe David Luiz was worth 50 million..... This is all money laundering. Hummels then should be worth 100 million. But the reality is that Kroos costs 20 million lol, I bet Real and Barca would not even want Muller for 10.....On the other hand, how much was the English midfielder from ManU? The defensive midfielder without any skills (Carry? Carrol? Fletcher?) , like 30 million? Oh my.....Dortmund would develop a top side with that kind of money.Last edited by Reisinger850; 07-13-2014 at 06:49 AM.

honestly tho… it's THEIR fault they never won. so that's no reason that they deserve it. considering the performances at this world cup, germany would be the "right winner". but it's football, and everything can happen. hope argentina can win it.
“Yes, I heard these rumours, but I don’t want to talk about it,” Vidal told Chilean newspaper El Mercurio.
“For the moment I am just enjoying my vacation, then when I return to Italy we’ll see.
“Manchester United? I am relaxed, but of course who wouldn’t be pleased with interest from one of the best clubs in the world?”
----> doesn't mean ****. he's just being respectful. nothing new. we will have to wait for more concrete news… and I still doubt he'd join man utd now.Forza Juventus, unico grande amore, una grande passione.

The good thing is, most of the team know how it feels to lose, but also could taste the win (CL League). And to be honest, not because I'm German but I can't see how Argentina can win this... Only chance is to park the bus till penalties and then there is the best GK in the world... They are almost the same teams like in 2010 (4:0), Messi plays slow and Di Maria most likely injured...
Bet 200 on Germany in regular time, can get 500. Fingers crossed.Ronnie KING Coleman, the greatest bodybuilder of all time.
