Predictions?
Also isn't it weird that Faber is on the Fox card and not the main card?

Faber is being used on the prelims as a lead-in for the PPV. The idea being that he will draw attention to the prelims and will keep people interested enough to want more through purchasing the PPV. Kind hope he gets knocked out early for the lols.
I think Weidman will win (although I want Machida to win) and Rousey should finsh her fight in the second round.Cheese Crew

Weidman will win. I will be happy for Machida if he some how manages to win but I just don't see it happening.
I would love for Rousey to lose except I want to see Cyborg pummel her. She is taking a vacation after the fight but it is only a month so there is no reason she shouldn't be fighting again this year.
I cannot stand Mitrione and hope he gets KO'd
I think Faber will win but will be looking for an upset.

Machida is capable of it sure but I think that is highly unlikely.
If Machida wins, it will be by decision as teflonwig said. I just don't see Weidman sitting back and being lulled into a decision like that. I think he will stay agressive and be too much for Machida.

Putting Urijah Faber on the prelims shows that the UFC really have no ****ing idea what they're doing right now. They have absolutely zero idea how to promote the sport as a sport instead of a spectacle. They've passed the "niche cockfighting" phase and are into the "accepted as a real sport" phase and have no idea what to do. Their lack of stars on top of consistently dropping TV ratings and PPV buys prove this beyond a doubt.
ZERO extra people are going to buy this PPV because Faber is on FS1. It literally isn't going to add a single buy to this PPV. All it can do is take buys away from the PPV by putting one of their more well-known guys on free TV. I guarantee there are a few die hard Faber fans who will only care to catch his fight before going out and drinking/partying. The idea that a prelim main event can or will lead to more PPV buys is just...stupid on a whole different level.

As far as predictions go? I'll take Rousey and Machida. Rousey is far too superior of an athlete for Davis, despite Davis' having the best BJJ out of any of her prior opponents. Davis, like most WMMA fighters, is a average athlete at best. Rousey will have her way with her in the clinch, but could run into trouble on the ground. Rousey's BJJ once on the ground really isn't that good. Meh defense, non-armbar subs, guard, and guard passing.
I really am not sure at all how Weidman/Machida goes. Picking Machida purely because Weidman really hasn't proven himself enough to be picked over him, IMO. We still don't know the exact level that Weidman is at, as he's only has 11 professional fights. And I'm not 100% convinced that his wins over Anderson weren't partially due to his age finally catching up to him.**Misc BJJ & MMA Crew**

Kevin Casey the guy fighting on the Fight Pass prelims follows me on Twitter for no reason whatsoever lolol
Just uploaded last night. This was super well done and has me amped for Saturday.
Should be exciting. Love Machida's style, hopefully he does fight more aggressively and for his sake can defend against Weidman's wrestling.
But on the feet I sense some good striking exchanges from both, def.

Weidman fans overrate his skills to much. His striking is sloopy and his wrestling is far from special. Yet he can take down Machida who has a 80% take down defense and is one of the best strikers in the sport. Machida is going to stop his takedowns, break him down with kicks and punches and then finish his ass in Mark Munoz fashion.

I think Machida has a good chance. He was a Sumo champ and can probably hold his own against Weidman in the clinch, plus he won't get embarrassed and emotional if Weidman gets something off on him. I think the longer the fight goes, the less likely it is Machida will win. That said, I think it is Machida by KO in the 2nd.
