IMO, SDV, TI, etc, are niche (availability, price, originality) but I don't consider Guerlain niche since most of the releases are designer (inb4 negged by Coolcicada). As for Tom Ford, the vast majority of the fragrances are in the private blend line which is a niche line. Either way, you can consider the fragrances as niche one by one instead of the whole house.

But someone knowledgeable on one of the ******** groups said it means it goes for a niche, exclusive market. So, basically price and/or distribution determines it. There are a few niche brands that sell fragrances at or under $100, such as diptyque, l'artisan, and parfum d'empire.

Honestly, probably Le Male or One Million. They are big time people pleasers, the only downside is that there will be a dozen other people in the club wearing them.

If you're going to a bar for casual drinks or somewhere with a more mature vibe then Aventus or La Nuit de L'Homme would be good shouts, but if you're clubbing I think you'll need something a bit more powerful. A*Men Pure Malt or Pure Havane are good club choices that it's unlikely anyone else will be wearing, Spicebomb is great and I don't think it's super common.

Like a small chain, I think there is 4-5 stores between central and NE Ohio. Don't have much details on the store/job itself yet. Start Monday so I will find out a bunch more then. All I know is I get hourly and % commission depending on the bottle. The discount can range from like 10 off to like 50 off on things like Creed I think. Hope prices are good so I can try to hook some brahs up on here, inb4iletyouguysdown.

Using the price/distribution definition, I would still consider Guerlain niche due to the limited distribution. Generally, Guerlain is sold in nicer perfume shops and a few very high end stores, not at the typical Macy's and Sephora. It aims for that niche market still. I would also consider Dior Privee, Armani Prive, Hermesscence, etc to be niche.

The price/distribution definition makes more sense to me now after thinking of it. I think niche (pronounced neesh) might just be the french pronunciation of the word niche (pronounced nitch), which means a specialized market and is used as a business term, etc. I think the term 'designer' probably came around later

Hnnng. 'Light My Fire' will be awesome if it can replicate a cigar smell. All three sound great, excited to try Intoxicated also. Hopefully it leans closer to coffee with a sweet edge than caramel frappacino lol
