From your list Memoir is pretty legit (personal favorite), as is Royal Oud and of course Aventus. Interlude is also one of my personal faves but it's not that versatile and better suited to winter as it's the most powerful frag I've come across.

Received my Aventus Creed and Green Irish Tweed today from m323. He was very responsive to all my pms and delivered as promised. The package came with ample padding and the containers are better than I was expecting.

Newbie question, I usually wear my shirts a few times before I wash or dry clean them. That's if they don't get dirty or sweaty. My question is, does that mean that I have to stick to the same cologne between washes or how do you guys do it?

usually only current releases, and kinda lame ones at that. I was able to get Kouros there about 4 yrs ago though

My experience with ulta was just all frags that are currently out. Mont blanc legend, Chanel AHS ASHEE, Jon Varvatos etc. Haven't seen vintages

Not a fan of perfumania. It's all your run of the mill designers that can be had cheaper online and the SA's are clueless and pushy. This was down in Miami though so you might have better luck in Michigan.

What do you guys think of I <3 NY For All? I'm sampling it now and I like what I smell but it's one of those I really have to go close to smell it even though I know other people can smell it on me. I did see someone on Fragrantica write that it smelled like an NYC sidewalk nut cart and now that I read that I do kinda get that.

to be honest i hated it, smelt like baby puke almost exactly (yound baby while theyre nursing)...gave my sample to a friend and it smells heavnly on him...i like i love ny for him a lot more

And Coolcicada - as others have said, you'll be wasting your time at Ulta/Perfumania. Ulta is basically a worthless version of Sephora (no samples), and there are sometimes good deals to be had at Perfumania, but you're not gonna find what you are after.

nah, the smell eventually goes away after a few day for the vast majority of scents. you will be able to wear different scents depending on the length of time between wears.

coolcicadia, don waste your time looking for vintage at either store. check out kiosks at malls close to where you will be staying especially less frequented malls
