Does anyone go to a chiropractor periodically? I've been thinking about it for the past month or so but keep putting it off. Is it worth it?

Can relate. I work 6 days a week and commute almost a hour each way to work each day and still get crap that I don't do enough around the house. I'm sorry that she only works 4 days a week. I work hard to support my family but apparently I'm supposed to do even more. Not a bit of appreciation.
End of rant that tagged on to Dana's rant/10

I am normally just laid back but I reached that boiling point today. I have talked to my son for about 2 hours and he has settled me down a lot.
It is just rough being the one that has a full time job, comes home and takes care of the house, cooks, cleans, homework and then dealing with construction of a new house.
He will get off tonight at and hit the bar to visit like every night then head home at 2am and then sleep until he has to go to work. Meanwhile builder is calling me as well asking me about shelving for the closets, do you have the plumbing fixtures, got door knobs, when is the AC gonna be working.
Lmao... I might go loco on someone.
But I agree... That a thank you or an I appreciate what you do would be nice instead of a Have You Done All This Today!**DIRTYSOUTHCREW**

Not really into Women's lib at my house. If laundry needs folding, she folds it. If a heavy basket needs to be carried upstairs, I carry it. If the dishes need doing, she will generally do them, she has never operated a lawn mower, that's my job. Kind of an old school division of labor, but it's worked for centuries so why fuk with it?
Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

Told my son about Wetbreasts and his accomplishments earlier and he was asking where he lived bc he wants to meet him He is in his room watching Wetty's you tube vids right now! Never met him but like me he is super proud of someone who is so dedicated to hitting goals and getting it done the hard way but the best way!

I quit climbing trees years ago when I had to get stitches from falling out of one and cutting my arms long time ago.
No lie that I love that fella though and have never met him. There are so many people in life that could learn from him and his hard work. He doesn't take short cuts. He does what it takes to get it done.
Any person that has possibly lost over 300lbs deserves credit and I give it when it is due!!**DIRTYSOUTHCREW**

I have a soft spot for obese people who get chit done also. A guy in my gym had this huge fat belly and I kinda rolled my eyes when he came in with one of our trainers. Thing is, I saw him in there the next day, then the next week, next month and next year.
Fast forward 3 years, didn't really hit that gym much for awhile and was driving into work and I saw him running about 4 miles away from work. Meaning he had to run 4 miles away from the gym just to get where I saw him. Huge gut gone, looking pretty confident and had a good stride. He had surpassed my running ability.
Not really sure how to end this story, so I'll leave it at that.Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

In my experience (I've seen maybe 5-7 different chiros over the last 15 years) it's very dependent on the doctor. I've never had a *bad* doctor per say, just some that while yes can make an adjustment, just don't seem to be making a big difference. And then I've had a few who were awesome, able to spot my issues, and make adjustments that really help me out.

Morning all, I got a call this morning and booked my first face-painting gig! I have only handed out ~6 business cards. I can't believe it!
It is a glorious hump day!!!!!
Thanks! I'll have to do some looking around. Is it something you do regularly or just when you feel things starting to be off?The above post may or may not be my personal opinion, views, or thoughts.

I try to do it regularly, but inevitably something always messes that up (usually trips for work) and then I fall out of the habit until I'm hurting bad, and have to start all over.
It sucks because, due to how tight/tense I always am, it's easy for me to lose 'progress,' so when I start going again I end up having to go 2 and sometimes even 3 times a week until thing's start 'taking hold' per say (for me it's the tight muscles that keep pushing things out of place, so at first you're basically fighting against that, hence the need for frequent visits). And then, of course, I never do any stretching/mobility work which makes it an even slower battle.
But whenever I'm to the maintenance stage of things, I typically only go once a month or so.
