know these feels. Last time I did an actual cut I would tell myself on about the 3rd beer "you're getting up and doing fasted cardio at 5 am, is that next beer really worth it?"

*edit to add, I also switched to expensive beers and really savored the taste of 1 or 2 ice cold ones, rather than dumping a bunch of cheap beer down my throat.

Back when I used to drink on a regular basis, I would actually lose weight. I know that's weird.

Here is my team mate Ricky who will be competing in the Branch Warren Classic tomorrow.

Dude is a super nice guy. Total support from wife and 2 little girls who will be dressed up in shirts that say
Ms.Figure 2025 etc. cute as can be.



I will also get to meet a FB friend who is 54 and doing his first comp in masters division.
I have never met him in real life but we have a ton in common and he has worked so hard for this.

is she older like in her thirties or forties? you could try to explain to her the difference between skinny and carrying some muscle...I read somewhere we lose around a 1/4 pd of muscle a year in your thirties and up..as this begins to decline so does your resting metabolic heart rate..the result of this being what you ate at 25 and were thin? at 45 will make you fat..
for every pound of muscle you add..your body can burn 35 to 50 calories more a day

there is a noticeable difference between a woman in her forties who just jogs and diets
and a woman who is lifting..you know what I am talking about

LOL!! Yeah... she is mid 40's. She asks me all the time about different exercises and stuff. She doesn't want to be anywhere near what I look like. I hate to use the word "tone" but that is what she needs right now. She has a huge ass and I mean HUGE in comparison to her waist. And I have never seen someone carry so much fat on the back of their knees and calves. I think a few simple things for her to do in addition to her classes would make a huge improvement in her shape as well as in her ability to lose some fat.


And Bando... I never thought I would say it but I am getting pretty tired of beer. And no... I don't have a fever. I plan to enjoy a few here and there but I have been puffing here and there on them cigs again and it seems it is always related to my beer drinking. When I was cutting and only allowed a few on that one day... I only craved a smoke that day. Now anytime I drink at least two I am wanting to smoke. I can't get back into that full time again. I refuse to. So time to make the changes needed to get back on track.

tell her this..seems to me and I might not be right on numbers
walking for 30 minutes might burn 100 or 150 calories
jogging a little more and running a bit more say 300 or 350 total

so you burn that up in an hour if ya last that long
one pound of fat is 3500 calories and that means
in order to lose one pound a week it has to be burned off or cut out of the food we consume
lifting weights puts your body in a slow and steady burn state
that can last 8 hours
show her some pics of some of the women who are 'toned' but not so cut they could enter the stage arena

Yeah we hit a stall with the fuk up on the front porch but the rest has gone pretty fast. Sheet rock guys are completely finished so painter will be coming in next.

We are on the river so we are required in that area to build up 5 feet. We decided to go 10 feet so we can park under the house. We will also be putting in a small shop to store the Harley and Rhino. A full bathroom and a set of bunk beds in another stall and then an enclosed outdoor kitchen downstairs. Grill area will be down there as well. All of the bottom will be concrete so we will be able to have picnic tables and seating under there.

And this view is the back of the house which is the side on the river. They are tearing out the front porch and starting over on it on Monday. I am excited to see it put up right and with better finishing than the other guy did.

Some of the things they were looking to get like city water and a paved road never happened so some of the lots went into foreclosure. We ended up getting our lot for $12500 and all of the pople who bought them for large amounts are sitting on theirs. I think they are hoping once more people build the property value will go up. We have no neighbors really close. 1 mile to either side is the closest house


Good thing for us is getting it while the price was so low so our value can only go up once others build. There is a lot a little ways down from us they are clearing off and looks like they are possibly getting ready to build soon.

Back from gym. Peaceful day in there today. Only a few people. One guy kept sitting his ass and bag on my bench I was using. 4 others ones he could have used but wanted to put his crustry sweaty ass on mine. You would think I would be use to such behavior by now but nope... still amazes me how stupid people are and inconsiderate.


Kezzy getting tipsy I see!! I am ready for a beer myself. Guess I better enjoy my beerz for the next couple of days since I will be on the wagon except for maybe a few on the weekends.
