U.S. should take note of how different a Belgium game looks against a team with a midfield that can control the ball and make passes upfield.

i do agree the better team won in Argentina but i have no respect for their game. there were at least 5 times this game alone where they turned the ball over deep in the Belgium territory and Belgium began to attack Argentina, usually the last man back for Argentina would go down (yes the DiMaria one was legitimate but the others clearly were not) and the other Argentinian players would instruct the Belgium player to kick the ball out of bounds, basically to kill the momentum. am i the only one who saw this?

Bro, Belgium is several levels below Argentina's level its not worth the effort to go out and and win 5-0 and have these minnows hacking down Messi its better/more efficient to score early and coast and win to face a more worthy team in the semis.

Bradley was playing out of position. If you watch the U.S. play outside of the World Cup Bradley is easily the most solid player in the midfield.

that doesn't change the fact that the referee had a poor performance, he dodged too many red and yellow cards for BOTH teams. Julio's Foul over Bacca was a red card anywhere but Brazil, and Neymar's injury was at the most a yellow card but unintentional nonetheless. Fernandinho constantly fouled James and Cuadrado nonstop, the only player who got my total respect was David Luiz.

This. Sucks what happened to neymar would never want a fracture in my back but that's what you call karma. The Brazilians were beating up the Colombians in their third the entire game without the refs controlling it. That forced the Colombians to ramp up their physicality and this is the result.
